In the older games you could certainly get players sent off for things like headbutts. I think that sort of thing has been removed now though.

Eventually, they get over it and try and crawl their way back in, but a bust-up always leads to me selling the player for whatever I can get for them.

Djalminha was the king back in the day. Incredible player, but a **** of the highest order. Had him go AWOL on CM01/02 after a number of bust-ups.

I seem to remember in the end you gave in to his transfer request, but attempted to scupper his career by only agreeing to sell him to a South American side.

Always find if you fall out then drop them they miss training once or twice a month. Good way to save money as you just fine them two weeks wages.

I hardly ever have disciplinary issues like that actually. Haven't had a player miss training for years. Usually I find I'm quite good at getting players to back down when you have a conversation with them (if they want to leave, I usually make some ridiculous promise about winning the Champions League or something).

Can't remember which year it was but one edition was ridiculous. Signed up all the best new kids in the country for Conference South. By time I was in League 2 I had all bar 3 of squad in under 21 sides and won FA Cup as well as League and Johnstones Paint or whatever it was called. Trouble was the game was so full of glitches I couldn't get past that summer, 4th season I think it was and seemed a problem for everyone on that game.
The players went from promising to megastars really quickly, was ludicrous. Really annoying it crashed though.

If someone's being a dick, I'll normally try and get rid of them, unless it's a vital key player that I can't afford to get rid of. In a Bayern save I had Javi Martinez try and demand a move, and there was no way that was happening, so had to basically beg to keep him. Normally though, I'll just let them leave and try and get rid ASAP.

Just been reading some stuff about Djalminha online, and someone had him headbutt the ref while away on International duty and get banned for 9 months. Another guy had him strike an official two games in a row. CM legend. I miss CM01/02, what an amazing game, quite possibly my favourite game of all-time.

Yeah I had this, as it happens it was Zidane, this was before 2006 of course. Got banned for 12 games or something.

Haha, I remember Pothas had a save with West Ham on the 2006 version, and he managed to get Veron. Poor old Veron was so old and knackered by that time, however, that he could literally only manage to play about 45 minutes a week (his fitness would go down from about 100% to less than 50% in one half iirc). Can't remember if that led to him moaning about a lack of game time though.

Have a young Aussie-born lad already at Kelantan called Brendan Gan who's been awesome as well, scores some incredible free-kicks, and is listed as Malaysian, so he's going to be the guy I build the team around.

Played for Sydney FC for a while before being dropped from the contract list, but qualifies for Malaysia through parentage. Grew up around my local area, IIRC.

Had some weird goals so far -- Xabi Alonso has a knack of scoring directly from corners, while Benzema loves to charge at the goalie, target the face, then chip the inevitable rebound over the 'keeper's lifeless body to score.

My Kelentan team are playing some seriously good football ATM. Starting to get everyone fit again, and my main striker Prince Tagoe has started scoring consistently. On a run of 5 straight wins in all competitions. 1 point behind Terengannu in the league with a game in hand, top of my Asian Confederations group, and in the Quarters of the FA Cup. Have just got to April too, so 4 new players have signed, so once they're registered I should have an excellent squad. Enjoying this save!

Properly jinxed myself. Went into my last game with 3 subs, all 3 of them keepers, and go and get a midfielder injured in the 50th minute. Had to play Roslan, a Malaysian goalkeeper as a ball-winning midfielder for 40 mins, so bad. Still top though so can't complain, although I've got 2nd place Terengannu next, and have no midfielders. Such a dire squad. Can't wait to win the Asian Confederations Cup and move on to another continent, hopefully Europe.

So reinstalled FM13 (checked on steam and 14 is still £35, balls to that)

Think I'm going to take over Utd and only play British players, be interesting to see how quick I can shift the likes of Van Persie and if i can give myself enough money to buy decent home grown talent.
