Right now, Suarez is probably better. Especially if you take form for their country's in consideration.
Nah don't agree with this at all but as I said earlier that was amazing from Suarez, players who are injured before the World Cup are supposed to be terrible.

Can argue Suarez is a striker and other two aren't. Probably the best 3 players around in any case.
Yeah it's a bit technical, but messi, Cristiano and Bale aren't really strikers.

Zlatan probably the biggest threat to Suarez, and maybe RVP.

Well all I know about soccer is guardian ranking of the top 100 players in December 2013 that I flipped throgh prior to th WC, and Suarez was #9 but I guess that's a bit old. They also had Messi above Ronaldo which was a surprise to me since I thought it was relatively universally thought Ronaldo was better (not trying to get into a Sachin vs Lara debate here - I have never seen either of hem play except in WCs)...

Nah he's not, though he's a superb player nonetheless.
Scored more than Messi and as much as Ronaldo in the league despite taking no penalties, as well as having 12 assists. He also routinely shows up for his country and basically carries them. He's also far more involved than Ronaldo in terms of build up play and works harder off the ball than both of them. He also doesn't play for teams that cost half a billion or more. I don't think you can say he isn't like that. It's certainly debatable.

Messi is better than Ronaldo but Ronaldo had a better season

Suarez arguably had a better season than both but was playing in a different league and not playing in Europe so for now sits below both. It could feasibly change if he guns it in the CL but for now he's about on par with Bale and Zlatan as the next best after those two, for me.

Watched from the couch, complete with sleep-deprived double vision.

Any good Gerrard assist jokes yet?

The record against the big teams is something that is probably overplayed but it can't be ignored in this sort of debate either.

Ronaldo also destroyed the Champions League this season.

If you consider previous seasons, it's not much of an argument, he's not as good as them. If you judge solely on this last season, he's got a case. The CL argument is legit, but it's more relevant in terms of the latter stages. The quality in the group stages and early knock-outs aren't anything too different to the quality of the teams in England.

Anyway...what a ****. Two chances, two goals.

Messi-Ronaldo is genuinely a Warne-Murali type debate it's that passionate and occasionally idiotic, there stats are both pretty incredible, but unlike the cricketers internationally they've not done it at the highest level.

Anyway to explain that so a five year old can understand it? Wiki tells me they all play as forward.

Sigh. This exit is actually more gutting than the England departures from the last few tournaments for me. In 2010 they were absolute garbage, and the team was still pretty ordinary in 2012, so I didn't mind seeing them depart on either of these occasions. But I actually really like the England side, and think they've actually been pretty good for much of the two games they've played. I don't think they really deserved more than they got on the whole, nor did I expect them to get much further in any event, but to go out in the first round is really underwhelming. Sigh.

Where does Robben sit in the world's best players discussion? Assuming top 5.
TBF, I think he is, but he's generally underrated because he doesn't score or assist as much as the other 3. But he has a huge impact on games regardless.
