Well that was quick, but it was a great watch.

Two games in and I'm enjoying this tournament in terms of entertainment, if not my own team's showing :(

Reckon Oz will smash the windies next up

Was always going to be a doddle for the kiwis, Scotland's making up the numbers. The Proteas might might them break into a sweat though.

I didn't even know he bowled offies until I saw him in the warmup match against England. He's always bowled medium pace to my knowledge; this must have been something he's specifically worked on for Twenty20 cricket.
Saw him bowl them in a net session once. :)

That was disgusting bowling from Scotland really. The Dutch were SO much more mature in the field against England yesterday. Very disappointing.

Watson and Coetzer though - hold your heads high. :)

The crowd catches have been fairly poor in this tourney, shows they're not experienced cricket watchers.

I remember shouting for one in a Lancs-yorks match at Old Trafford, gawd did I get some stick from the locals, I was fairly drunk though TBF.

Good match really considering, well done the Kiwis, but the jocks bowling wasn't of a great standard.

Funniest match I've ever seen. Absolute farce.
More farcical than the ODI final last time out? At least the umpires knew the score with this one

But yeah, first time I've ever took a shower during a cricket match and missed half because of doing so

A competent bowling and fielding display and NZ would have lost.

3 no-balls, dropped catches, misfields, poor length bowling.

Already it's looking to be a higher scoring tournament than the IPL in SA. There were an inordinate number of fairly low scores there. The pitches here are obviously more batsmen friendly.

God, I'm not looking forward to the boring middle overs of the Australia vs. WI Twenty20. May just change the channel from overs 6-16

You 7Seven fans just don't appreciate the perfect balance between attack and defence that you get in those overs. That's the best part of the game for a true cricket fan.

KiWiNiNjA's offhand remark about Sevens rugby makes me wonder if they'll ever consider smaller playing teams for shortened T20 matches, because in a match like this, everyone just red-lines it, it's nutty.

Ah, just forget I said anything, this match has just ****ed with my head.

Scotland will be kicking themselves for not at least forcing New Zealand to the last over, if not winning - dropped catches, misfields, some woeful bowling and even the wicket keeper who was too slow in stumping Taylor. Not sure about a match being so ridiculously reduced either, surely 10 overs minimum?

Lets hope the weather clears up a bit for the rest of the tournament, would be a shame to see further matches so reduced. Mind you one positive was that I got to see the Barbarians v Wallabies AND a New Zealand cricket international within three and a half hours...not sure that'll repeat itself too often.

IMO, yes. That game was a farce too, but at least Australia earned that victory and were dominant for longer than the length of a fart.
