England batting first + dew + awful pitch + McGrath and Bracken + Strauss, Fred, Yardy, KP as the top five.

79 all out.
Bit harsh on Lee there :p

Am picking Brett to take early wickets though. McGrath will be tight, but won't be the standout in terms of wickets.

Strauss charges down the wicket firs ball to Mcgrath & pulls him over mid wicket. Are England trying to do to Mcgrath what they did to Gillespie last year?

Fair start, please carry on for 10 overs. No losses after ten doesn't happen often...

Was thinking the same thing myself. And so far so good for England.

Martyn gets dropped when he shouldnt be and picked when he doesnt deserve it - he really is a horrible fieldsman these days

Leg-side half volley beautifully dispatched to the rope by Bell there; McGrath looking well short of form.

& a shy at the stumps after Bell dead-bats the last ball of the over. Not a happy camper, our Glenn.

Shouldnt be - he's bowled crap

Should've been at the SCG bowling 60 overs in the last few days getting match fit IMO

First time I've seen Mitchell bowl, I like the look of him. I was expecting him to be a bit quicker from what I'd heard, but with the action he puts on the ball he gives himself every chance of finding whatever swing is out there.

The stud beneath his lower lip is a bit unnecessary IMHO. Makes him look like he's got a huge semi-precious zit just waiting to be popped.

Uh-oh, this isn't going well. Pontings decision will come back to bite us so bad.

Edit. Martyns drop was a shocker.

Bell ya gimp. Disappointing he didn't get his fifty and onwards.

KP....interesting. Nice to see flexibility in the batting lineup.

BARNES OUT
If Australia do manage to lose this game and go out of the Trophy, I'd imagine Watson would drop back down the order for someone like Jaques or even Hayden (though I'm against it). Especially if he scores low.

EDIT: Wasn't a great ball but a wicket's a wicket.
