Frequent ball change made by England Team

Starfighter

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
He must have a **** captain if he was still bowling after losing a ball in the first place. He should have been hooked, like all finger spinners and sent off the park to go and find it, no matter how long it took him.

Why did you give them a new ball, anyway? You mean to tell me that two teams of cricket nuffies rocked up to their village game and none of them have an old ball in their kit? Come on. If they wanted the ball replaced with an old one, I have a sneaking suspicion they'd have found one.

As for these instances at the top level which seem to only happen in England to England when they're bowling, it beggars belief in this day and age there aren't boxes carried around which contain several balls of any given age - 0-10 overs old, 10-20, 20-30 etc etc. It's amateur hour in terms of organisation and officiating. If the ball needs replacing, that's fine. But if there isn't one of commensurate age and damage to it, then play on with the **** one, I'm afraid. It rewards a bowling side for getting pasted around the park.
I remember in a match here - I think it was actually a BBL match - the umpires decided that the box of replacement balls wasn't satisfactory so they actually went and got another box. So why can't England find a representative ball somewhere when a amateurishly run T20 league can? The other question, is why aren't the match officials checking before the match? Yeah they can't necessarily anticipate the wear in advance but if they have enough gradations between newish and 'attacked with an angle grinder' they'll be well prepared.

Not sure what constitutes cheating more, requesting a replacement ball, or sandpapering the **** out of the old one.....
Definitely the former, because it actually worked. The latter was pure idiocy form everyone involved, before, during and after

I can't wait to see when Australia gets pissed off with this new method of cheating and gets caught changing the shape of the ball with a vice hidden in their underpants.

Hmmm well let's see.....one is simply asking the umpire a question, don't believe that contravenes any rules? The other other is breaking a clearly defined rule.

Well I'm glad that we agree that not only are your cricketers cheats, they are also idiots.
