When did you last win it away?
2023 mate. 2019 before that. When did you fellas last win it at all?

There will be kids who were born on the day England last won a test in Australia who will come home from year eight at high school to watch day one of the first Ashes test in 2025, and they won't have seen England win a test here in their entire lives.

No one's ever posted a TikTok of an England test win in Australia.

Osama Bin Laden hasn't missed one since he took the swim which needs no towel from the back of a Black Hawk in May 2011.

England's last test win in Australia is closer in time to 9/11 than it is to October 7th.

The Iraq war didn't last as long as the time since England last won a test in Australia.

WWI and WWII combined were shorter than the time since England last won a test in Australia.

Elizabeth Taylor, Randy Savage and Steve Jobs were alive when England last won a test here.

No one has ever tracked their active minutes on an Apple Watch while listening in to an England test win over here.

England supporters flexing about away series wins is typically mediocre and bizarre given their own record, but it's especially brain dead as it seems to proceed on the ridiculous assumption you can somehow win series' without winning a single test match.

Sad.

You dont really have to post a list. If you say you were in your 50s when they last won, it conveys the message tbh. :p

I was in my 20's when Australia last won an Ashes Series in England. My eldest daughter wasn't born, she's just graduated from Uni!!
So you were in your 30s when England last won a single test here? How can you still support them? I mean, it's genuinely pathetic. And it isn't as though they've been vintage Aus outfits handing out these demoralizing pizzlings either.

I'm actually starting to wonder if I'll ever see another Aussie Series win in England. If they couldn't do it with this bowling attack (which is all heading to retirement), and it was only rain that saved them (twice) from defeat anyway, it's hard to see how they do it with what clearly is not coming through.

Yeah, I was in my 30's when England won the Ashes there.

Maybe not vintage Aus, but getting back to the topic of thread, as Stuart Broad noted, they knew how to get a ball to deviate......

They have Dad's Army in their attack now.

lol you're relying on Mark Wood who'll be rising a PED-assisted 36 at the time of the next Ashes and currently have Woakes in the side at 35. You'll be hoping England can manage to take 20 wickets in the next Ashes series let alone in a given match.

The one thing England are doing at the moment is giving opportunities to other bowlers. Atkinson has impressed, Tongue looked useful, Potts is improving, Stone plays tomorrow, Hull called up to the squad.

But no idea who is going to follow the Aussie Dad's Army when they soon all retire. The only one we saw was Boland and as we all predicted, may as well have his passport revoked. Is there any half decent Aussie cricketer under 30? And I'm talking batting now too.

lol they don’t need to be half decent to beat England here. We had George Bailey and a colour blind Chris Rogers in a side which won 5-0. Calling it now. England won’t win a test and the only thing which will stop a white wash will be weather. Done and dusted.
