Well if it was a shot@ Sehwag then still you should be embarrassed for doing so because he isn't here to defend himself. :p

I didn't know Sehwag309 enough and I dont care if his real name was Rajeev, chandrasekhar or Mohammadad. You can continue with your investigation. ;)

Doesnt alter the fact that he would never have dared start such threads on this forum. But he does so on a platform where the members actually encourage his ridiculing of certain players. Which makes the pot shot justified. As for him not being present here, I dont see many of the international players against whom routine shots are taken, present here. That doesnt seem to stop anybody, including you and me ;) . And it wasnt an investigation, as much as a prior knowledge of his presence on multiple forums. Hes mentioned it many times in the past.

I think Sanz means nobody really gives a feck who Freddie is over there.
I think it is because Freddie wasn't such a big player in that tour. He was basically a walking wicket in the tests, although I think that tour marked a bit of a renaissance in his bowling. That was the first time I ever saw him bowl at 140+ ks an hour.

Do you mean the ICC or the police? Everyone knows the ICC is totally incompetant, and I'm not sure what the attitudes of the Indian police would have been.. Bit of a waste of time IMO..
They are good enough to bust match fixing racquets. I would have thought they would be competent enough to investigate these incidents. Point is, the DDCA member says it was a cardboard box and given the security arrangements for a match in the same series in Chennai (which I watched) I think he is right, there really is no way that I can understand how a guy could have carried a pellet gun into the ground. The fact is that they decided to play it down then and are playing it up now, which is stupid, basically. They are wrong both times. Either they should have reported about it then and made sure people took action or they should have kept mum now.

personally, I think these words are not even half as bad as some of the stupid stuff people come up with here.
Is anyone actually offended by a line of asterisks with a letter on either side of them anyway? I understand stopping people from using other characters to get around it, but come on...

anyone with decent IQ would first check out the timing of my post here @CW and the post there @the link. Also If you are still not sure Please feel free to contact the moderators of both the forums to find out the fact.

Neither am I member of that forum, nor is my name Rajeev.
Then how do you know? You're the only other person who has mentioned those lines anywhere.

I thought this was a silly thread and never visited here but today I( did and discovered this gem through one of the links posted here.

I am sure most of you have read it but it is too funny not to be repeated here in full :)

Flintoff was killed in Bangalore..

"I was fielding at the boundary, when I was killed by an axe thrown
by someone in the crowd. I mean you expect plastic bottles and stuff,
but an axe..? The axe hit me on the neck and as I looked down I
saw my head rolling on the ground.
"Nasser Hussain was livid, but team management wanted to play down
the event, and Andrew Walpole the ECB's media relations manager
told me not to lose my head over it." - Flintoff

Maybe England shouldn't tour India and Pakistan. There are clear dangers of terrorist attacks by extremists, criminals etc in such lawless countries. Hopefully the first incident will be minor but enough for them to call the tour off. This kind of behaviour cannot go unpunished and the best way to punish them is to give them nothing to watch, nothing to shoot at and nothing to blow up.

Cricket doesn't need these kinds of fans, snipers or suicide bomber pitch invasions. :@

How the hell I know how it ended up @ that forum. May be Rajeev still visits the websites, may be he came on his own.

The timing of my post clearly suggests that It was posted here first before it was posted on that site (which btw i can't even access from work and now-a-days most of my postings are either from work or during the weekends, including the post question) .

Anyways, If you still had any doubts on this, please feel free to contact the mods/admins of both the forums and request an IP Check (it shouldn't be that difficult) . And yeah admins of CW can definately tell you that Sehwag309 and Sanz are not same people.

Bowler shot with airgun during match

Sean Beynon

August 31, 2001

Gloucestershire seamer Alistair Bressington was shot with an airgun during a second team match at the County Ground in Bristol on Wednesday.

Bressington, 21, was bowling for the hosts shortly before the tea interval when shots were fired from the car park at the ground.

He was not seriously hurt, but the players left the field while the police were called. The assailant fled, and the players resumed the match, with Bressington on the field, after tea.

Gloucestershire chief executive Tom Richardson said that the club was taking the incident very seriously. "It may only be a little air pellet but if it had hit someone in the eye it could have been extremely dangerous," he told the Bristol Evening Post.

The match resumed on Thursday, with Bressington able to take the field.

The youngster has a summer contract with the club, which he hopes will be extended at the end of the year.

Slanderous behaviour can see sanctions levied against you in a court of law.
Umm only if goes that far.

I mean I have heard nothing to say that it has (I check the bbc or cricinfo everyday so it would report it if it did) or even if the ICC or BCCI are going to do with anything.

As for Bush comment, I don't actually see the relevance of that twoards this thread, and if you went around and said he tried to strangle you, most people would probably laugh at you and ask what you have been smoking and drinking?

So now yer a lip reader ? Flintoff mouthed the word 'i've been shot' that only NOW people start to notice, eh ? Nobody-not a frigging soul- noticed that when the incident occured.
Do you know what 'suggestable' means ? I think you are being very suggestable here.

And clearly didnt make it up ? Well boyo, we have no evidence to believe that !
He could've been shot, he could've been mistaken, he could be lying through his teeth.
We just dont know .
So instead of taking sides because you feel that way i suggest you let the brain do the thinking - ie, wait for evidence and both sides of the story !

PS : I clearly got what he was insinuating - he said that he thinks Flintoff is right because play stoppage confirms what Flintoff is saying (sic).
But there is proof that something did happen, it is obvious you seem to miss that.

He's acknowledging something happened. But he's saying that noone here knows WHAT exactly happened..

Wasn't it on that tour Nasser was slashed with a knife as he walked through the crowd to the pavilion. It was nothing major but goes to show the Indian fans attitude to opposition players. Maybe cause Nasser's family was from the sub-continent and he was captaining England - a rascism of a sort.

That wasn't talked up either but it should have been. Lucky he wasn't seriously hurt but why should a crowd of savages be allowed so close to cricket players. Why are they allowed to bring weapons into the stadium? Do they have no rules or law there? If its an attempt to intimidate then they would just brandish their guns and knives but the actually USE them to harm the opposition.

Cricket doesn't need these savages, kick them out!
