Yeah Piastri shouldn't be an obstacle at this stage of the season. He has to watch out for Leclerc behind though.

If the GP is like this too surely give Lawson a shot and get rid of Perez for the rest of the year. SURELY.

I’d be more worried about Verstappen dive bombing tbh.

Heh and Verstappen gets a penalty.

If the sprint is anything to judge by (it often isn’t), Ferrari and Mercedes may have lonely races tomorrow.

Quality from Gasly (especially) and Lawson. Haas had disappointing race pace, almost had me thinking it was last year with their tyre wear woes.

Qualy delayed tho boooo

Edit - fp1 has an interesting grid set if they need to use it due to the weather

I wonder if they'll take another new part and start him in the pit lane. Sao Paolo will provide plenty of opportunities to get through the pack, and realistically he's going to need a safety car or excellent strategy to improve on 7th. I don't think starting from the pitlane will impede him getting to that point anyway, but he'll have the advantage of fresh hardware going into the final races.

Oh how I love wet weather stuff. Hope its nice and moist for the race too.

This is it Lando - you start from pole and Max starts from 17th. Got to capitalise today.

Good luck to all the guys needing rebuilds, especially AM and Williams rebuilding two cars!

Also there is a theory that Horner may be trying to buy out Sainz’s contract for next year, and Colapinto would then take his seat.

Would be the most sensible thing for all parties really, so very unlikely to happen.

Norris 44 points behind, starts on pole, Verstappen starting 17th. Perfect time for Norris to reduce lead to 20 points (Norris win + fastest lap, Max coming in 9th)

9th? Hmm.

If it was for example dry.. I wouldn’t be surprised at him finishing 5th tbh. The guys below the top 4 teams would be no problem and Merc has been clearly the worst and he has Perez so I think he’d easily grab him and Hamilton.

I haven’t seen what the weather will be but Max in the rain will be fun if so. I wonder how many risks he’s willing to take.

Ocon and the RB’s up front seems likely to produce some chaos.

Wont be surprised to see Max at 6th or so, his pace was excellent in Quali.

Apparently rain expected in about 20 minutes, then a bit more again at back end of the race. this could be a really fun one.
