League is 10 times the sport AFL will ever be.. you have got to ask yourself why hasn't AFL taken off in many if any other countries.. becasue it is so boring and lacks skill

Sooooooo so many flaws in that post right there....

And the reason why it hasnt taken off in other countries is mainly because we dont want it to at the moment...!

As for the Irish beating Australia, different rules and most of all different ball!! and besides, Aussies have beaten the Irish at it more than the Irish have beaten the Aussies;)

Is that why you paid for it to be taught in NZ secondary schools?

We had an AFL coach guy come and teach our PE class how to play and the interest level was non exsistant

That still has nothing to do with trying to expand the game globally

Sounds like an interesting story. Are you going to write a book about it?

No probably not but it is an example of how it has been exposed, unsuccesfully to another country.

I personally think it is lame but you obviously don't so we will leave it at that

You don't hit it as far as you possibly can every time though!

No, it's an example of how it has been exposed unsuccessfully to one class of students.

I find Golf fun for about two months then hate it for two then like it again then hate it again.

It is a vicious cycle.. I at one stage managed to get down to a single figure handycap.. now it is up to 11 :-O
