So yorkshire beaten koz without Bairstow & root? Or Sporting declaration in 2nd innings?

I found something for 1910 game but that was Draw game means Yorkshire never beaten by Leicestershire

This match was arranged for only 2 days, there being no play on 20 May because of the King's funeral.
They lost because they didn't make any improvements to their bowling attack that didn't take 20 wickets in a match once last season.

Glamorgan (12 pts) drew with Gloucestershire (8 pts)

How they calculate points 400 runs = certain point or first innings lead?

Gloucester scored 569 so they gets 8 point?

I wants to know all this calculation
Why Glamorgan gained dozen points in Drawn game?

Bonus points.

Glamorgan score 5 for the draw, plus 4 batting points for scoring over 400 runs in their first innings within 110 overs, then a further 3 bowling points for taking 10 wickets within 110 overs of Gloucestershire’s first innings.

First Innings Points are awarded only for performances in the first 110 overs of each first innings and retained whatever the result of the match.

Batting Points

250 to 299 runs - 1 point

300 to 349 runs - 2 points

350 to 399 runs - 3 points

400 to 349 runs - 4 points

450 runs or over - 5 points

Bowling Points

3 to 5 wickets taken - 1 point

6 to 8 wickets taken - 2 points

9 to 10 wickets taken - 3 points

Very wet here (20 miles from Canterbury) again this morning - there is no doubt that luck plays a part when the season starts as early as it has this year. It's unlikely a game would have enough playing time to reach a positive conclusion if today/tomorrow were part of the 4 days. As it was Kent benefitted from winning the toss and batting twice on the best days (Friday & yesterday) and managed to conjure 20 wickets despite only selecting 3 specialist bowlers, one of whom broke down early on Saturday. So full marks to the attack, esp. Evison who stepped up and ended with 4 wickets in the 2nd innings.

This is the first time Kent have won their first match of the season for 6 years - all Kent supporters will be hoping that this portends well for the rest of the season. Goodness knows who will be bowling for us at Warwickshire though. ?

Play already abandoned for the day at Bristol between Glos & Yorkshire. (Well over an hour before play was due to start)
Weather meant to be worse tomorrow, may be little play at all there.

Find that odd to be honest, it's not been that bad this week and it's a lovely sunny day today. I dread to think how bad the ground must've been last week before we actually saw some decent weather over Easter weekend.

Anyone watching any of the games today? I caught a little bit of the Surrey vs Hampshire live stream enough to see Vince and Dawson fall to pretty good deliveries from Abbott and Lawes respectively. Elsewhere, Middlesex's top order have fallen in a hurry again.

Talking of which, my part of SW London saw hail storms combined with thunder and lightening an hour ago. If that lot makes its way to Kennington, we can forget about any more plat at The Oval today. As it stands, Brown and Barker are quietly rebuilding the Hampshire innings towards something respectable; and probably something competitive once Hampshire's quicks get cracking in these conditions.

I was watching Notts v Somerset. What should've been bowler friendly conditions were largely wasted by Somerset and Duckett helped himself to 75. Hameed far less fluent but going ok now, his strike rate tells you why he wouldn't be considered for England.

In another time, Ben Brown might have played for England, a fine keeper who averages 40 with the bat in FC cricket, almost 10,000 runs, pretty stiff.

Kent have needed 25 overs from Bell-Drummond, Denly and Leaning already.

Coincidentally, 2 Warwickshire batsmen have tonned up already.

Same old bowling issues for Kent, really are rather weak in that area.

Nathan Gilchrist bowling for the second XI at Hove today so hopefully we’ll see him next week.

Harry Podmore seems to be at Glamorgan - a loan or permanent? Not sure why he fell out of his favour. I thought he'd done pretty well at Kent.

Sam Hain in the runs again. Probably doesn't matter how many FC runs he scores. I suspect a full England cap will elude him.
