Was a conscious choice to play the players that got them here wasn’t it?Given that England are playing Wednesday I'm struggling to work out why Vince couldn't play. Nice finish, the penultimate over was the killer.
Ah the old Carabao Cup tactic. Was a conscious choice to play the players that got them here wasn’t it?
This aged well. Well done Leicestershire on a great victory4 down....This could be over shortly
Been a very good county bowler always doing good work season after season.Tim Murtagh, the longest-serving current county player, has announced his retirement.
Yeah, that's killed off our season. Not entirely sure what happened, but sounds like it was Carson who got frustrated, kicked off, supported by Haines. Pujara gets the ban because he was the skipper. Karvelas also under investigation too.Sussex deducted 12 points for their conduct against Leicestershire, Pujara banned for a game after picking up his fourth penalty this season.
With Farbrace choosing to not select Haines and Carson due to their conduct.
So good news for your Worcs lads @chris.hinton

@Molehill seems like Ollie Robinson has hurt his finger (I assume playing golf so he misses the game too, if the weather lets it go ahead anyway)
i think this means no players on Cricket Captain 2002 are active any moreTim Murtagh, the longest-serving current county player, has announced his retirement.
Not sure how the start and end of this sentence align?Robinson is a ****ing fraud, kind of wish he'd go somewhere else now but he's so good when he does play County Cricket.
I was going to ask if anyone had any further insight into this, as it seems a most severe punishment, much as I don’t like bad behaviour on the field. Looking at the definition of Level 1 offences, it sounds like excessive appealing or strong dissent at a decision were the likeliest reasons.Yeah, that's killed off our season. It's frustrating that he's so rarely available. He should've played all 4 matches in September, there's really no reason for him not to. But between him and the ECB he's managed to now avoid 3 of them. Not sure how the start and end of this sentence align?
That's the impression I got. I think it's the 4th offence this season so Pujara was banned under the totting up process. Bizarre that someone as mild mannered as him should get a ban even though it wasn't him committing the offences.I was going to ask if anyone had any further insight into this, as it seems a most severe punishment, much as I don’t like bad behaviour on the field. Jimmy hasn’t played for lancs either, though I guess that was always likely. Given his poor Ashes though a couple of games might have been a decent ideaIt's frustrating that he's so rarely available.
