Yet recent performances seem rather inconsistent.
The first test match I ever saw live was in 1965 - England v South Africa at Trent Bridge.Mr Mxyzptlk said:Yet recent performances seem rather inconsistent.
I disagree. Butcher has done extremely well since his recall so, at this point in time I think it would be ridiculous to replace him with an untried player. However, as I said before, Hussey would likely have gotten into the team in 2001, when England has some serious lineup problems.Mr. Ponting said:england have a strong batting line-up? you have got to be kidding. they have one of the worlds weakest. hussey coul replace butcher, hussain or the 5 or 6 batsmen anyday.
Beat Australia the last time they met in test cricket:PMr. Ponting said:england have a strong batting line-up? you have got to be kidding. they have one of the worlds weakest. hussey coul replace butcher, hussain or the 5 or 6 batsmen anyday.
Keep in mind that McGrath was picked as and *snigger* allrounder.Tim said:Its more than likely that had Hussey been English...McGrath & Smith would not have been picked during this series before him.
