domestic movements!

3 or 4 years back there was a possibility that Heath Streak would end up playing domestic cricket in NZ at some stage but I think that's highly unlikely now.
I think it was in 2001 when Zimbabwe were last here that Streak was quoted in the paper suggesting that he'd like to come back here again.

One other thing that I found interesting although very little has been said of it since was the possibility of a few NZ players playing domestic cricket in Australia. Although now that Steve Rixon has left NSW, that may well be shot down.

NZ also have a very good relationship with Queensland..Chris Martin trained their for 2 weeks earlier in the year & the NZ team use their facilities quite often.

The credibility of my source is questionable but apparently Steve Rixon was interested in giving Brendon McCullum a couple of games for NSW.

Ervine and Streak would be the only ones that would make the NSW squad (reglarly) i would think... if they want to play FC cricket that is...

The Courier Mail hinted that Hauritz has could go to Adelaide next year and it is a strong possibility that Watson will return to Brisbane.

Sydney AND Melbourne are always treated as the centre of the universe.
If you live elsewhere, you tend to get used to it though.

I saw a very funny comedian last Saturday night who made some funny points about the constant whinging happening between Sydney/Melbourne-siders

What are you talking about, they're all the same. A species called 'Eastern Staters' (includes everyone but Waussies and Saussies)

Hmmm. Let's see what Webster says.

Naussies - Australians from the Northern Territories
Root of noun 'Nausea'

Nausea
A stomach distress causing the urge to chunder, usually attributed to excessive imbibement of a brew known to the locals as 'beer', but to the rest of the world as 'weasel pee'

I would hazard a guess that most people in this fair country of mine wouldn't know where the friggin NT is. It is really funny to watch a game show and when they come up with a phone in comp and mention your capital city......Darwin (capital of the Northern Territory) doesn't even rate a mention. Used to #^$* me off when I lived in the NT. :@
