To me its not really a suprise that Watson is moving back to Queensland.
Too right. Queensland spent money developing him, he should repay that back.

I think his major consideration in moving back to Queensland was the quality of the beer. You can only drink Cascade for so long, and no person in their right mind would choose VB over XXXX.

It mentions the weather in that article, and I find that quite amusing because recently my parents were talking of wanting to live in Tasmania- they had read in a brochure that the average tempertaure for summer is only 24 degrees or something! No wonder Watson went back, he wanted to defrost.

Really it was always going to happen IMO.

Stuart Law was never going to get dropped, so Watson took up a chance to develop himself at Tasmania.

Despite the fact that Law was dropped during the 2002/03 season...

Leave us poor Aussies alone...we don't have any proper beer like you lucky pommie buggers get.
You lot need to import some proper beers then!!

Do beers like Bombardier's and Pedigree make it to Aus?
Do you not have ales?

Lot of transfers already considering the season does not start until October
Probably a good idea too. I mean, I'd hate to move states and settle in a new city a couple of weeks out from the new season...
