It's now 40 years since Derby have enjoyed an away victory on the opening day of the season, so hardly surprising.PY said:Good news Eddie. Hope you are feeling a lot better now.
Guess that you started early on that home brew due to the Rams losing to the lowest of the low, Leeds?
I was under the impression that your team was M********r U****d?PY said:Yeah, my team Grimsby lost to a late-ish goal as well.
Looking forward to the appearance of Paul Gascoigne on Tuesday for Boston United. Last time he was at Grimsby for Burnley, he got an ovation and chants of 'One Paul Gascoigne, there's only one Paul Gascoigne' from the hardcore GTFC fans during the game when he dropped that shoulder and waltzed round our defenders, was awesome yet sad all at once because it reminded what he could have been.
He saluted our end when he was brought off as well. Been a big favourite of mine since then (even more than before).
First and only time I've ever seen an opposition player being applauded. In fact, usually they get the middle finger and as many expletives as the local scallies can muster.
Thanks, Vish - it's great to be back - and I am much better, thanks.V Reddy said:Great to see you back , Eddie . Hope you are feeling much better now
I'm beginning to subscribe to your theory of following rather than supporting. I follow the results of Grimsby, Man Utd, Colchester and Rotherham but I'm not sure whether I support any of them.Neil Pickup said:I was under the impression that your team was M********r U****d?
Hell yeah .Neil Pickup said:To sum up, basically, you're exposed as a dirty scarf-influenced glory hunter and you wish to change the subject.
Hang on a minute, Red S**m fan disenchanted with the commercialisation of football? you only have yourself to blame!PY said:However I'm a bit disenchanted with the whole English setup now with the commercialisation and crap that goes with it.

Didn't know that.marc71178 said:Seeing as he's in Hospital with a perforated ulcer in his stomach, I'd wager he won't be playing.
