Well, seeing as the Reds have 5 players themselves who make decisions between them, does that mean the other 4 sides are managerless?Deja moo said:Which essentially makes it a glorified version of WCC with 5 managers and a captive audience with no input beyond the provision of initial stats.
If jamee can get a helmet, i would like full protective gear while facing demeza.Jamee999 said:I want a helmet.
Jamee doesn't get a helmet. They're reserved for people who would be missed.wrangler203 said:If jamee can get a helmet, i would like full protective gear while facing demeza.

Which 5 ? What decisions ? And to try again, why not let players choose how they want to play ? If they're team players, they'll suit their game to whats required. And if they arent, do unto them whats done to those kind of players in real life, ie either tolerate them coz they might (heaven forbid  ) actually know better than the captains, or boot them. And come to think of it, even activity, the only factor that any player is allowed to have any control over in the Dev league, doesnt seem to have any effect on their careers. I havent been active for a gazillion weeks, yet I find that I'm still playing for the Reds, practice games or otherwise.marc71178 said:Well, seeing as the Reds have 5 players themselves who make decisions between them, does that mean the other 4 sides are managerless?
I can assure you I certainly couldnt spot any attempts on the part of either the captain or the "chosen 5" to elicit any inputs from the players in the Reds thread.Mr Mxyzptlk said:The Blues have 5 picking the team, and we've taken into account requests from several players as pertaining to their approach.
If you don't know that it hardly shows that you have interest in the team.Deja moo said:Which 5 ? What decisions ?
er, how is a rookie supposed to know about the structure of a team if there are no references made to it at all ? Could you point out an instance of you eliciting any input from the players ?marc71178 said:If you don't know that it hardly shows that you have interest in the team.
And I can assure you that if you've had no input at all to any team threads, your whinging is going to be ignored.Deja moo said:I can assure you I certainly couldnt spot any attempts on the part of either the captain or the "chosen 5" to elicit any inputs from the players in the Reds thread.
Typical defensive posture. You cannot justify yourself, and so choose to label my posts as a whinge.marc71178 said:And I can assure you that if you've had no input at all to any team threads, your whinging is going to be ignored.
The "chosen 5" as you like to label them are all senior players who have been involved with the side and had been very active in both threads about the team and emails to myself with suggestions and discussions. We now discuss things as a group and make decisions that we think best suit the team.
I can fully justify myself, and for the record we were far and away the first side to change from 1 man to a group for selections.Deja moo said:Typical defensive posture. You cannot justify yourself, and so choose to label my posts as a whinge.
I have. I was very much involved in the usual "Go Reds" banter for around a month, then realising that was all there was to it, got disinterested.marc71178 said:I can fully justify myself, and for the record we were far and away the first side to change from 1 man to a group for selections.
You have made no attempt to join in, then whinge that players have no input.
