Timewell 10/78 from 39.5 overs... this guy continues to up the ante, amazing stuff. Great job with the ball by Weber in the 2nd innings too. The batting was a little weak in the first innings, Blewy and Feeney the only ones to get going, the 2nd was better - good team effort with N Rose and Verghese both passine 50, also solid contribution for the last wicket between Hoy (49 from 157) and Timewell (26 from 76).

Great win guys, lets not get ****y though, lots of hard work at the nets :)

It's getting interesting at the top :)

Good to get back into the wickets in the Black, and well batted Alex - looks like we *might* have opening sorted. Enjoying my run-scoring too ;)

There is no rookie who has a 35+ averages with the bat and sub20 average with the ball. In fact, there's no player at all who does that! I also don't see where fielding comes into this. Are rookies supposed to be crappy fielders?
When I looked there were 2, and as for fielding, everyone else drops so many...

serious marc stop crying ! like rookies cant do good...there are some rookies who do good, rookies who are avarage and there are even bad rookies...just like irl! serious you sound like a little child: 'its not fair they are doing better then me, MAMA'
Actually, this has been debated for a long time, dating to prior the season started.

It is not realistic that sides are considering leaving out previous star players because of rookie performances.

I am not asking to i nclude myself or not but its time a few changes are made from the supposedly established players in the CW XI team as the results are not coming and the players are not playing particularly impressively.
After 1 game with the players back 8-)

Everyone drops catchs at some point in the simulation. That's why no one has a perfect fielding rating. Shockingly enough, of players who have played more than one game, Jellett, Moerk, Gray and Maddocks are 4 of the top 5 fielders as far as performance this season. Further that to see Walsh, Garven and Bennett as 3 off the next 4. That's 7 of the top 9 fielders ratingswise being non-rookies.

can we give cloete back? that wasnt good enough andy, no honestly, another poor team performance, my form is still relatively good but the bowlers again are offering very little, its putting the batsman under too much pressure trying to score massive totals every time we bat just to stay in a game...

Argh! Liam, is it possible to find my average/runs scored in the last 4 FC games (without going through each scorecard)?

Also.. is inconsistency the only reason why I'm doing so poorly?? :(

The internationals have had ONE go. A bit harsh to drop them on the basis of that, don't ya think?
Not the internationals. Those who have been given chances in the team ignoring the bench strength potential or trying them out.

That was a pretty comfortable win there, and I was very happy with my game opening's great. And well done to the bowlers who gave the opposition nothing.

The only bench strength we had before the internationals returned was Shukla, who's been downright dire with the ball both in FC and OD, and you, who have a career average worse than all the bowlers in the team has this season...

Boys! Let's not make this public.

Team selections are done by 4 or 5 people, not just 1, so there is no need for dispute. If somebody has a problem with selections please bring it up with me on MSN or email. Your case will be heard.
