Still no word on what team I'm in?
Rob, Liam is in a totally different time zone, so give it 24hrs or so and see what happens. The season hasn't started yet so you arn't missing out on anything important (Except team strips!).

Jamie...good effort but could we maybe have a bit darker green? :)

Warmup Matches 4.1

CW Blue v Bangladesh XI at the SCG.
CW Green v Pakistan XI at the CWBCC Stadium.

Very encouraging batting form for CW Blue and some important wickets for Halsey and Patrick heading into the season.

The Green bowlers were troubled by Inzamam and Younis Khan, then the batsmen were set into a spin by Shoaib Malik.

Do we get scorecards? :)

I need a crest or logo to put on it though.. and maybe a better template for a polo shirt. Any one willing to help? :( :)

I must say, I'm very happy with the way I played in the warmup games. 9 wickets @ 17 and a century in the four day games, and a couple of wickets and an unbeaten 60 in the shorter form. Hopefully this will earn me a shot at the first XI some time early in the season.

Considering we were playing a squad that we had no choices with in terms of who would play, I think we did a brilliant job to play against a world class team and only come up 43 runs short. My pride in the players of CW Green is furthered even more by this show of resiliance in dire circumstances - one of the best teams the whole of Pakistan can put together and we compared to them well! Congratulations to Hoy for getting himself four wickets (I told you you have nothing to worry about ;)) and also to Gooljar and Weber for being nice and economical with their bowling. Waughney and Weber did well with the bat, too - and a nice two sixes from Bryce!

We were playing without four of our best OD batsmen and our two leading OD wicket takers (although Hoy is only one behind Reuben) - so I think it's safe to say that our side did extremely well given the circumstances. :)

Also - Four runouts! Goodness, Pakistan need to spend some time looking into that! Lovely commitment and heart shown by our side when fielding. :)

Sad to lose our last warm-up game of the season, hopefully with a few injury wories out of the way we can settle into the season quickly. On a personal note, it was great to finally find some form before the season starts...i only hope it will carry over.

Are we following the Man Utd "new kit every season" approach then?

I was under the impression the Season 6 kits were staying unchanged into Season 8 to reward loyal fans!

Also attached is the current CWXI kit that will remain for the rest of series 8 - am planning a total redesign for Season 9
All my hard work for naught, then! Bummer. Ah well... such is life! :)

EDIT: Are those cricket shirts or rugby shirts? :p
