Unless you have info that I haven't, of course...Liam said:You'll get a club assignment within 24 hours.
That's fine. I figured, if I have a batting average of 51, it would be so cheap to have a decent bowling average.Mr Mxyzptlk said:If you don't mind, you'll play as a specialist batsman.

Sadly, no, I'm a mere Daniel. But we have a Rob Malone and a Rob Timewell already, and a couple of years back I had a best friend named Rob. I'd not be surpised if there are more in the CW Dev League, not sure though.Robertinho said:That's fine. Btw, loony bob.. are you a Rob? if so - YES! I have met so many Robs in the past year.. from being at a school of 400 people and being the only Rob, to being in a 3 person boarding house dorm, where 2 of us are Robs, its insane.. haha.
After standing in for Age over the past few days, I've already found that things are never easy for a CW Captain. :S Either that or they're testing me. I feel like a newbie at some kind of sorority and I'm going through their sick, twisted initiation.Samuel_Vimes said:*senses problems may be resolved rather quickly... *
I'm with Neil on this one, it would be nice to see some kind of limitations for rookies from now on. I've had many a person complain about how awesome the rookies are this season.Neil Pickup said:This is probably another one for a round of e-mail wars, but I'm really starting to think that starting averages should not be in the range of really > 40 for batsmen and < 24 for bowlers, with increases and decreases dependent on commitment and forum activity (à la training).
This whole simulation's about creating a virtual parallel reality, and people should be rewarded for commitment and participating, there's nowt worse than seieng a team full of no-shows, and it's really not likely to keep fringe players interested if people can just appear with God/Cowanlike averages and walk into sides...
Then imagine being on the selection panel...Loony BoB said:After standing in for Age over the past few days, I've already found that things are never easy for a CW Captain. :S Either that or they're testing me. Haha! Wow, I never even thought about that.Samuel_Vimes said:Then imagine being on the selection panel...
