(and England's bowling must be really poor if they let me off with 36*, but who gives a damn...we won!)
what does that make the team that let you score 161, then? :p

GO REDS!!!!!!!!

Guess the bad luck of having to face one of the strongest teams before the CWXI was picked and having them only have one member gone while we have five members gone doesn't help us on this one. :( We do need more players to put their hand up - although it seems right now we can't get them rising to the occasion without going not just the extra mile, but two extra miles - right into the 'national' team! We can still win those trophies, we just need to step up our game.

EDIT: And may I say holy crap our bowlers got hammered. :(

They were just allowed to score far to many runs there, only Marjin went for less than 5 rpo, didn't stand much chance with teh bat after losing early wickets like that, good effort by Lezama, Marjin and Hoy down the order toi avoid total embarrasement.

Not good enough guys, we need to improve massivley individually and as a team.

CRICKET WEB BLUE V CRICKET WEB BLACK
Game 3!!!

With the season series at 1-1 with 2 more games remaining, the Blue/Black rivalry remains heated. This time it's even more so as the Blacks, missing their captain and other key players, look to prove a point of depth. The lead is 60 points in 5D for Black, but Blue are keeping pace in second with 2 games in hand, meaning that the result of this game could go a long to way to determine whether CW Black runs out of steam as the Blues chase. Action-packed no doubt!

The trilogy awaits...

Im honoured to be captaining this excellent CW Black side for the first time in FC Cricket. Im sure it will be a wonderful experience for everybody.

We have a point to prove guys, in that we can win without some of our best players on board. I believe we have the depth, the class and the skill to still consistently pull of victories no matter who is on the park.

Special congratulations to Yasa Fayaz as well, hopefully this match will be your debut and hopefully this match will lead into a hugely successful career with the CW Black side.

We're CW Black, and we're up and ready to go.

Another great win there Reds. Seem to be flourishing with the internationals away on duty - everyone is finally taking responsibility for their own performance and not relying on the 'big guns'. When they return that should make us a stronger team.

On a personal note my form is improving with the increased responsibility and leading by example.

Well done Kennett with some crucial wickets and keeping the runs down was a major factor in us winning the game.

Let's keep it going fellas.

Well done my little Redlets. That's a few wins on the trot for us now.

The much criticised middle order really stood up today. Of special note was Zaid's incredible run of scores latelly, adding another very exciting 57 to his tally. I think Deeps has really turned the corner, whilst this is his first really noticeable score in a while, he's looked in fine touch and i think he's going to really cash in in this half of the season... The batting in the last 5 overs, from Zaid who was also supported by Vimesy was great as well. Sammy V really showed us what he can do when he needs to get runs quick. well done.

As far as the bowling goes it was really rather clinical. our two openers were clinical as Wrighty and Kennett really set them off on the back foot. Another very important spell came from Zaid again who completed a top game, by bowling some tight overs and really keeping us on top throughout.

A well deserved victory here guys with numerous players standing up which was just fantastic.

Let's keep this wave going.

happy with that win for blue, we were in control the whole way, over 7 an over early on set it up, and except for some expensive overs in the first 6 or 7 it was always gonna be a blue victory. stuey should consider himself very lucky to ave made that century after running out 2 players lol, naa seriously well done mate and lets get beat these black try hards....

Sudeep

Great win boys. Disappointed that I missed out on the game.

Looking forward to the clash against the Blacks. Hopefully, I shall finally prove my worth...

Won't be the same without Pickup though, won't get a chance to smash him all around the park.
