CW BLACK 269 46.4 overs
CRICKET WEB RED 266/8 50.0 overs

CW Black won by 3 runs

Man of the match: Yasa Fayaz

Daily Blast Comment: A great fight from both teams throughout the game, but ultimately the Reds lost their nerve and wickets at the crucial stage of the chase and end up once again competing with the Blacks but not winning. Well-played by Dave and Imran Khan Jr. to comeback after very expensive opening spells and also to Yasa Fayaz for a debut half-century.

ENGLAND 'A' 225 48.4 overs
CRICKET WEB GREEN 226/6 47.4 overs

Cricket Web Green won by 4 wickets

Man of the match: Nathan Hoy

Daily Blast Comment: Shotty fielding by Cloete was returned by the Englishmen and the CW XI batsman ultimately struck form at the best possible time, scoring his highest score of the season and just his 2nd OD half-century ahead of the Chairman's Trophy. He was made to share the spotlight though, as Nathan Hoy continued to make a name for himself, following up his 6 wickets against CW Red with 5 more in a brilliant exhibition of pace. Impressive win for the Greens, considering the bowling attack largely didn't fire initially. Well-bowled by Majin on debut.

AUSTRALIA 'A' 229 49.4 overs
CRICKET WEB BLUE 218/8 50.0 overs

Australia 'A' won by 11 runs

Man of the match: David Hussey

Daily Blast Comment: Peter Young was almost the least likely of heroes when he blasted 5 sixes in his highest List-A score. In partnership with Mr M, it looked as though the Blues might edge home a difficult pitch, but wickets were lost at crucial stages and the lower order players couldn't push on sufficiently. Not that badly played by the Blues overall though, just outplayed. Credit to the part-time bowlers, Sudeep and Paid the Umpire who did a fine job. Umpire especially was superb during the slog overs. Also well-played by Nath Patrick to continue his solid season.

Good effort Reds. Bowling was a little expensive, but did get the wickets. Another close loss to a run chace, although expected with a few experience players on call for the chairman's game.

that was ashame guys! we just couldn't put them away at the end. looking at the game with just 5 overs to go i thuoght we had them well and truly. 21 off the last 5 overs was a realistic chance but we just lost our nerve. I want to stress in my brief stint as captain how important it is for everyone to take responsibility in this team. The bowlers have to take pride in their batting and stand up down the order. Too many games we've lost due to collapses. With Marc away I'm going to send all the bowlers into the nets for some batting practise. IT's clear they can bowl beautifully but we all gotta chip in.

:D Great win Blacks!:) They had the match, but we stole it from them, well done...

Glad to see my old team fall to my new one...

Well done Blues.

We tried hard but never really looked like getting there at 5-66. But we tried hard, very hard.

But I'm back to my bowling best... 5-1-15-1 (what a great spell) :)
But batted shockers 3 off 9. But typically i never ever get dropped :)

Well fought out loss.

You're a nuffy. What a silly comment, considering it was some Red players who came up with the idea of salvaging your career... I suppose you wouldn't have bothered reading the fineprint, though.

Calm down mate, whats your problem?:(

Im finished with the whole issue and that comment I made was just because there is an obvious rivalry, which is commonplace when someone switches teams...of course I wanted Black to beat Red, and you would too if you were in my place. Added to that the fact there is some extra rivalry...

Glad to see my old team fall to my new one...
How is that implying anything hurtful against anyone personally? It isn't. How is that implying that I wasn't thankful for those who suggested/helped me get to a new club? It isn't. If anyone should review their comments it is you, because you are the one making the unfair comments...

as the stand in captain for the reds team i strongly urge all of you guys not to say very much on this issue at all. in fact say nothing. we don't want to get into any more problems just now... we have cricket to play.

Great to get a close win over England A with some of our top performers this season on rep duty. Great to see Waughney and Majin make their debuts with good performances first up. Majin and Cloete done a great job bringing the runrate to a stop, while Cloete and Blewy done a great job steering us to victory.

On a personal note it seems as if i have found my 1-day feet a bit with 11 wickets in the last two matches. Hopefully i can keep the good form till the end of the season:).

Well said Slats.

A superb effort there boys considering how many key players we had out of the side - at long last it appears that our team spirit is lifting and performances are getting better!
