Another solid win for Green :)

Great bowling from all the bowlers, everyone was pretty tight and we knocked them off witrh the pressure built by that.

Only 2 batsmen really got on top of the bowling, both Lord and Biased Indian scored quickly as well. Cloete, myself and Jamee all scored a few but much more slowly (particularly myself) but the innings run rate was still solid at 4.76.

Great win boys, lets keep this momentum going :)

Great to secure a thrilling win in the OD games. As I've been saying, this Black team has got a lot of heart and this game proved it here today.

Well done guys, but still a lot of hard work to be done.

Woah !!!

Awesome stuff greens !! this is the kind of team work and dedication to winning which is awesome to see 4/4 wins now :D

Aww i could have had 2 wickets :( sniff but top effort by all the bowlers to keep it real tight out there and wickets coming on regulary..
good stuff on biased indian whos carrying on his top form with a good 59 of 56 to follow up his 90 and taking 2 wickets in the game..

Good spirit Blacks to win that after looking dead and buried - alright were not on top of our game right now but it's still a good win.

The reds are no mugs in the one day game either (just 5 day)

Nice to get the in form Vimes out personally and my ER was good.

Go Black!

Unlucky Reds, close match. Happy with 9-0-28-2.
...petty we couldn't get 6 more runs though...

I still think this one is somewhat nastier...

Marc71178 - drove straight, ball deflected off Deeps and caught by bowler

Anyway, I was dropped on 0, so can't complain personally. Can't bat in one-dayers anyway (anyone spell Vaughan? ;))

Men of the Match: Cloete and Nathan Hoy

Daily Blast Comment: Great spirit and fighback by CW Green. In the second innings, the batsmen really applied themselves and crucial innings came from Cloete and Blewy in the middle. At the top of the order, Biased Indian played another impressively compact inning to help the Greens have something to bowl at. Although 223 is not a massive score to defend, Nathan Hoy bowled supremely alongside Delkap and Rose to get the job done.

Australia 'A' 2nd Innings 200 all out
Cricket Web Red 2nd Innings 103 for 5
Cricket Web Red won by 5 wkts.

Daily Blast Comment: A great win for CW Red. Two key players found their best form and other supported nicely. Dave took his first ever 10-wicket haul and Bugssy notched just his 3rd FC hundred, but his highest FC score. Chasing a low total in the second innings was a little troublesome, but Samuel "Atherton" Vimes ground it out with another fine half-century. Ironically, the legspinner SupaFreak, who batted at number 7, didn't bowl a ball in the game, but played two critical innings.

Time for Bugssy to get some first-class limelight as well...awesome batting man! And Dave's 10/97 was some great stuff, got the right wickets at the right moments - couldn't have done it without him

Also, very commendable fielding in the second innings...no dropped catches, that's rare to see. :)

On a personal note, it's funny how people change nicknames...that's the third I've been mentioned by in a couple of days: Jamee called me "crap", Bronco called me "Gilchrist" and now it's (probably officially) "Atherton". :D

Bugssy was in desperate need for some form, and he definently pulled through when the going was tough - Big thumbs up to him for that effort. Batting and bowling worked well together, an extremely good game all round. Bit dissapointed about dropping yet another catch, but i'm no JN Rhodes .

Fantastic game guys, now we can only hope to keep consistantly playing as a team and the results will come.

I failed again, sorry guys. ;o It's just er, first three game nerves. :D? I'll pick it up, promise. But way to go guys, Good effort from you all. Lets keep it up.

Feels like finding out the chick your chatting up is your cousin :(.

A great fighting win by the boys, defending 220 odd is a great effort against the Blacks. The top order is starting to gel well lead by Cloete (Sachin Who?), with Blewy, Eyes and Indian backing him up. Strike force green seems to be working great as a unit now with everyone doing their little bit.

On a personal note still bowling with a nice line and length and getting a 5 for and flogging all 6 stumps after the game was a huge plus (Which bugger took the bails(sp?)). On the other hand my batting is about 6 ft. down the shitter. Think i'm to scare to face Rose in the nets after his 6/7 afew weeks back. Hopefully some of the batsman are keen for a bowl? :)

Lets keep the green machine rolling guys!
