Australia 'A' 2nd Innings 215 all out

Daily Blast Comment: A dominant win for the Greens with a great allround performance to bring it. Fine strokeplay from the veteran Cloete as well as youngsters Biased Indian and Waughney set it all up, with a great lower order knock from Xavier Rose. The wickets were shared around and, while the fielding was occasionally a bit laxadasical, it was overall a solid effort in the field.

Daily Blast Comment: A less than primary school level display of fielding from the Blacks let them down as Blackwell was dropped 5 times and went on to score a game-winning hundred for his team. The Blacks should have this one and that makes it twice in 2 games that England A has comeback to break their hearts.

England 'A' 2nd Innings 248 for 6
England 'A' won by 4 wkts.

Daily Blast Comment: Both teams achieved a lot from this game. Cricket Web Red was positive initially when skipper Marc elected to bat first on the pacy PDV wicket. The gamble paid off for the Greens earlier this season and, behind a wonderful career-best from Samuel Vimes, it did for the Reds too. The Blues were in trouble early, but fought back well. What prevented Red victory in the end could have been the rain, as it didn't allow any consistent momentum and thus runs didn't flow as they might have. Overall runs were surprisingly tough to score on the surface, but Vimes put his head down and did it well. Peter Young then took over and saved the game for the Blues with a positive unbeaten hundred. Great spirit from both sides.

Aarrgh!

How many times will people drop catches off my bowling!

(Notices that I too dropped one of my own bowling, but that was only once!)

Bad result for the team, happy with mine though, 7 wickets for the match pleased me and surprised me despite having so many catches being dropped off my bowling!

Not happy at all. Collapses and myriad dropped chances.

Will be closely watching fielding practice in the coming days because this is unacceptable and we are going to throw the league away all by ourselves.

Sort it.

Go Reds!!!!!(you happy now, biased indian?)

Well done Sammy V!!

Disappointed to get out to Halsey, though :p

Also disappointed at bowling 6 overs out of 97.2 in the 1st innings, but it doesn't matter as long as red don't lose

Great stuff Redxs, it wasn't a win, but it was a much improved performance. Still a lot of work to be done on our fielding, however our batting was much better and the bowling had some fire about it.

On a personal note, I felt a lot better in the second innings, and after a bad Smash25 I felt I have got my rythum back.

well done reds, it shows we can play when we all want to. weel done samual with the 165 and it was a superb knock.

everyone put there hand up we just ran out of time, atleast the skipper made a game of it by declaring, we could have just batted through.

on a personal note i was satisfied with my 35 and 38 considering my fc form has been terrible, maybe its a nice turn around with some good stuff to shine on the horizon.

better than any win this round was the Greens win over Aus 'A' that too over quite a damn fine end result

This is the top notch all round performance from the team ive been looking forward to ages.. now its 3/3 wins and hopefully we dont stop here team !!
We did really well to get Aus out for 233 in their first innings.. all the bowlers worked together really well standouts were Biased Indian and rose with 3 wickets each..
We started are batting really well with Biased Indian getting upto a hard worked 90! too bad he couldnt go on to make a much deserved century.. and Cloete put on a brilliant batting performance ive been looking forward to for a long time..151 was awesome good work man !
And good work on waughney notching up his century too and standing till the end.. good support by rose to with a well work 68.. all contributing to a Massive total of 503 Dec :D
And aus made to bat again were bowled out for 215.. top effort from all the bowlers once again especially hoy - 4 wickets and rose 3 wickets..
Great win beating Aus by an innings an 55 runs :)

Looking forward to the celebrations tonight.. ive hired a club out.. so everyones invited for drinks etc..
