balck had to win the OD, as they have no chance of winning the 25smash
What a match!! Well this might sound hard but its the truth... if we cant defend a target of 360+ what might we defend after a rematch. They outplayed us just like everyone else did throughout the season, by far a season to forget, but surely well learn from the mistakes and come back with a stronger side next season on.
Its been a delight wearing the reds uniform this season, I wish I would be honoured to do it again in the coming seasons THANKS ALOT EVERYONE.

we have to be very disapointed with ourselves blue for that performance, falling short only 2 wickets down simply isnt good enough. Overall we have to be pretty pleased with our season though. Just because we didnt win the title doesnt mean we cant be proud of what we achieved in this brand new format....

If you go by the games at the start of the season when Green was full strength, I think we were always quite strong in 25Smash and I have never had any doubts that, with our players back from CW XI duty, we're more than capable of taking ourselves to the final and winning it, too.steds said:
Our depth isn't bad either, we've never really done all too badly - so I wouldn't say the Green win was unexpected by all parties. Dunno about them Reds, though. 
C'mon, guys, we can win this one and we can win it in style - batting first, batting second, batting home or away, this is our trophy.

Great win guys, Blewy lead from the front with a great innings and was well supported by the other batsmen. Bowlers bowled pretty tight with Rose, Waughney and Majin picking up the odd wicket.

Holy Crap just seen THE BLACKS HUGE OD CHAMPIONSHIP WIN!!! woah.
im just glad to get my 1st OD Hundred in a final and would like to especially thank Dave im sure he helped huge in that part :P
As for the team its been a great year for the blacks in OD cricket everyone pretty much contributed alll year and i dont really believe we had a standout except BK Smith who went nutz. 50avg not bad son!
Now that 25Smash stuff hmmm to be honest i believe The Greens would win the whole 25 Championship due to the fact players like blewy and captain age master would make sure they get some bit of silverwear.
