AUSTRALIA 'A' 254/3 38.5 overs
Australia 'A' won by 7 wickets
Man of the match: Shaun Tait
Daily Blast Comment: The ideal situation was to bat second, but the Reds should have done better with the pitch. Indeed all of the top and middle order got starts and only one man carried on. You never sensed 252 would be enough, especially not when 11 runs came from the first over of the Australian chase. Tough and comprehensive loss.

Daily Blast Comment: Exceptional maturity from young Waughney and some devastating seam bowling swung this one comfortably for CW Green. One of the most satisfying victories of the season, all the bowlers were effective and Waughney played a lovely knock even as Cloete and Blewy failed to dominate. The six with which Waughney got past 50 was absolutely majestic and summed up the day for Age and his boys.

CRICKET WEB BLUE 164 44.3 overs
CW Black won by 87 runs
Man of the match: Neil Pickup
Daily Blast Comment: At the risk of having an Inzamam moment, Mr Mxyzptlk elected to bowl first in bowling conditions against Black. Unfortunately the seam bowlers didn't back up the decision and the spin bowlers simply could not do it all. The young heads of Black - Smith and Kearsley - carried the innings and gave Pickup something to bowl at. The 'Ginger Wizard' did exactly that, bowling for 5 wickets and a comfortable win for his team as charge toward a potential OD title.
