**Dev League Season 7**

Wow, just looking at the 5D statistics, and I'm very pleased at my figures. I think this has been my best Development League season yet, with 87 FC wickets at 26. Last year I got 79 Wickets which was my best season, but this season has been fantastic.

great win by the team, awesome batting!

A minor announcement here - I would like to step down for the next match, two or three and give Kenny (or some other new-blood we may have) a shot at the big-time. While my form is as poor as it is at the moment, and there is new blood aching to get out there, I dont believe I should be retaining my spot. Obviously if the selectors want me to play, I will, but if there is any slight doubt in picking me, please give a newbie a go in my place. The experience for the person picked would be tremendous, and it would certainly give them a great deal of confidence, and at the very least - a chance to prove themselves. Everybody deserves a chance, and I will not be the person to hold them back.

Whatever the next game is (sorry to have not have checked the schedule) I will not play in it, as a break is needed for rest and some thinking time about my performances of recent. If the new person picked does the job, please continue to select them, but if not, after this short break, I feel I will be ready to bowl at my best.

Thankyou in your consideration towards this statement.
The problem in all that being that he's a batsman who bowls very occasional spin and you're a front line bowler who scores very occasional runs.

LOL!

Oh yeah forgot about that one. Hey tell ya what skip, I`ll put some work in on the chinamans and see if we can set a plan of maybe a deep square leg, deep mid, deep long on and off, then I`ll toss em up as high as possible and see if we cant take a few catches?

Like, I can't use winrar files here, is there anyway you could change it to something else? D: thx.

And sux about the loss, but I'm pretty happy with my bowling, 50 odd from 23 overs isn't too bad.

Is there anyway we could see our batting and bowling stats for the season so far? *_*

Dan, it's a zip file, so you should be okay... if you can't get that, since it's about 30-50 different files, I think you're stuck. Here's some stuff for ya, though...

ummm, i didn't realise how the state of our batting was going...you take Cloete and Blewy out and we don't have a single person average over 30....

Yeah, our 5D batting stats have never been that hot - I know that, for some reason or another, I tend to do a lot better in the shortened versions of the game. You'd think I suffer from fatigue quite fast or something, I just can't place why I've passed 50 four times but never went on with any of the four innings to pass 65... in fact, Rose, Lo'D and yourself have all at least matched my high score if not bettered it. Sucks. It's nice to do well in OD's and 25Smash games, but I'd just love to pull off a big score in the five day game.

Great follow up performance Reds. The rematch was set, after last games dismal display we needed payback, and payback is what we got.

First innings was solid, highlighted by Sam 'Gilly' Vimes in another marathon innings, however it was one of his quicker scoring ones with 66 off 146. Deeps was outstanding with 77 in the middle order .

Steds cleaned up the England A top order nicely, taking his best bowling figures (from memory) of 4/48 from 36 overs, with 20 maidens! Top stuff there Steds. Leaving myself, Marc and Freak to clean up the tail.

Marc proved his Test callup is worthy after his 2nd century in as many games, scoring 101, and combining with Bugssy (69) to save us from what looked to be a dismal score with most others not doing a great deal.

Freak and Steds took care of the top order yet again with 5 wickets between them, leaving (yet again) me and marc to clean up the tail. Too easy, a win against England A, at last.

Well done fellas. Proud of you guys - Free drinks cards to all at the CW Bar, on me!

Not a good game from us. Still not scoring fast enough with the bat in these 25 over games guys. Need to work on that. As for the bowlers, only Delkap kept his ER under 7.
