looking at those averages could we see a Toogood 2000+ run season and a Rose 100+ wickets for the greens....
Don't count that out.Jason could be looking at a 3000+ run season though if he goes on a good run.Don't think i'll reach 200+ wickets for the greens but 150+ is not out of the question.

Results will be delayed until around 6am my time tomorrow, which is about 6pm Australian and 11am UK time. This is due to my sister's phone use and my fatigue :P.

There will be a live sim of the OD round immediately after, around 6pm Aus/11am UK time or 7pm Aus/12noon UK time. Stay tuned.

LOL Rose, as if you can get 200 wickets. i will send you $50AU to your bank account if you get 200 in the season.

i think more 100-110 is reasonable. for me i think 60-70 is realistic unfortently.

Cricket Web Green 354 & 196
New Zealand 'A' 292 & 260/8

New Zealand 'A' won by 2 wickets

Man of the match: MJ Mason

Coach's Comments:
It's the worst feeling in the world when an epic performance comes from a player and yet his team loses. Just ask Brian Lara, Muralitharan, Andy Flower, Age Master. In an innings of pure elegence, Age Master just continued to split the field ball after ball. Whilst his team-mated floundered against the seam, the Greens captain held his nerve to go to by far his highest FC score and his second century. With Xavier Rose, he added a record 146 runs for the 9th wicket. A late second innings burst from Rose then almost won the game for the Greens, but alas it fell just short.

Australia 'A' 365 & 332/2d
Cricket Web Red 193 & 227

Australia 'A' won by 277 runs

Man of the match: MTG Elliott

Coach's Comments:
The only real show of ball in this one came from rookie Zaid Ghansar as the Reds slipped further with another devastating defeat.
---
Veterans XI 345 & 363
Cricket Web Blue 362 & 259/5

Cricket Web Blue draw with Veterans XI

Man of the match: ME Waugh

Coach's Comments:
A great bowling comeback saw the bowlers share the wickets pretty equally, to set the stage for a solid batting effort, led by Jellett. Dark Hunter played well in the lower order to record his maiden half-century and the game was pretty even on first innings. The bowlers were again good in the second innings, but, after have the Vets at 258/7, they failed to finish the job in time and were made to chase 347 in 74 overs. Buts and Jellett were spirited in the middle order, but ultimately the game petered out to a draw.

Zimbabwe XI 342 & 408
South Africa 'A' 430 & 95/3

South Africa 'A' draw with Zimbabwe XI

Man of the match: M van Jaarsveld
---
England 'A' 330 & 366
India A 426 & 199/4

England 'A' draw with India A

Man of the match: RV Bhardwaj

NEW ZEALAND 'A' 164 43.1 overs
CRICKET WEB GREEN 165/6 35.3 overs

Cricket Web Green won by 4 wickets

Man of the match: Sanz

Coach's Comments:
I'm extremely impressed with the temperament of Sanz. He continues to move from strength to strength as a bowler and showed his worth again today. The real hero IMO though, was Age Master. The skipper came good again to guide the chase after a middle order collapse and was rewarded with his highest score of the season and his 3rd List-A fifty.
---
CRICKET WEB RED 283/6 50.0 overs
AUSTRALIA 'A' 165 36.2 overs

Cricket Web Red won by 118 runs

Man of the match: Ian Markus

Coach's Comments:
The Reds stay in the picture and bounce back with a huge win over their Aussie opponents. After a relatively slow start, Deeps and Ian Markus spurren on the middle order to elevate the run rate dramatically and end on a great total of 283. Markus raises his OD avge this season to a fantastic 192 with yet another unbeaten half-century. With the ball, Dave was as solid as ever and Zaid Ghansar grabbed two crucial wickets to put the game beyond the reach of Australia A.
---
CRICKET WEB BLUE 175/5 30.0 overs
VETERANS XI 167/4 30.0 overs

Cricket Web Blue won by 8 runs

Man of the match: C Buts

Coach's Comments:
Due to overnight showers, the game was reduced to 30 overs per side, causing a couple of minor changes to the batting lineup of the Blues. The outfield was wet and the pitch a bit tough to time the ball off initially, but StUEy got the ball rolling well and Buts held the innings intact with a solid effort from the 3 spot. Sam Vimes then contributed lustily late to set a decent total. Early wickets for Bhooth Nath made the total look even more imposing, but it took some tight stuff in the middle from Fisher and Andre to seal the deal. The Vets entered the final two overs totally out of it, but Mark Waugh took 15 from 5 balls in the Bhooth Nath's over (the penultimate), leaving 18 needed from the last over. The best of efforts could only manage 10 from Chris Broadbent though, and a classic match was won by the Blues.

SOUTH AFRICA 'A' 237/9 50.0 overs
ZIMBABWE XI 233/6 50.0 overs

South Africa 'A' won by 4 runs

Man of the match: Monde Zondeki
---
INDIA A 235 48.0 overs
ENGLAND 'A' 211/7 50.0 overs

India A won by 24 runs

Man of the match: L Balaji

thanks for the praising comments but it really hurts that red team just does not come good in the 5dayers been so good in the ODIs. Come on guys lets pull our socks up and performe big time. We all do individual performances here and there, but what we need is the performances to come CONSISTENTLY and many players together should perform. lets hope for the best.
I hope my inclusion in the red team has done more good than bad hope i can be of some help in the 5 dayers

I would say I'm in with a 100 wickets chance.

Rose, if he carries on, will certainly get there.

I would think so too.Already halfway through the season and i've got 60+ wickets.Good to see i'm finally scoring runs to help bolster the lower order.A 146 run 9th wicket partnership followed by a 56 run opening partnership is great.Got my maiden FC 50 i think.Already got a List-A 50 so only centuries left to get now. Also need to get a hat-trick and 10 wickets in an innings(won't happen) plus get 100 wickets. Then hopefully do the same in the Test arena.

If us greens can win our remaining 5D games and a good percentage of our OD games we could finish in the top 3 for both.Let's at least try for that. Also, the Chef De Groot Trophy is not far out of our reach if we remain focused for the rest of the season. The return of the WC players will help too.

On that last note, which teams will the returning WC players be on?I already know Marc will be on CW Red but what about the others?
