WoW! Sehwag has really given us bowlers some trouble this series. A very good effort by the bowlers in the match, however, the batting is a different story. Hakon showed his value down the order which is a good sign for the future.

um... ****

Disappointing effort all round apart from Hakon and maybe Liam. Disappointing last 2 tests after that first test offered such promise.

Let's lift our heads, at the end of the day playing India is difficult. Playing India at home is extemely difficult! So we can still be proud.

Just one thing to query, why on earth didn't we try a part-timer?? The Indian batting line-up carved us up once again and it just seems strange that we haven't used ONE part-timer all tour. I'm certainly not suggesting myself, although I'd be happy to, but anyone! Our bowlers are all bowler large amounts of overs and it just seems strange not to ever bring on a part-timer during large partnerships...

Let's put in a big one for the last test though boys!

Surely if the fourth test continues like this, a long hard look must be taken at the squad come the next test series. It simply isn't performing, as it stands.

Or made any real changes to the attack.

that too, but i raised this with andy on MSN earlier, out frontline bowlers whoever they are keep getting smashed, surely we can try a part timer every now and then just to break it up...

i would say with 3 seamers and 2 spinners there is enough variation in the attack for the most part, though it probably would have been an idea to try Cloete on the spinning pitches, at least for 5-10 overs

I don't necessarily expect to get a bowl. I mean guys like Marc are probably ahead of me, fair enough too! I just think when India has a big partnership and our bowlers aren't doing too much, we should bring on a part-timer! Doesn't matter who it is, as long as they can roll their arm over, there's always the chance of them breaking a prtnership. If it doesn't work and they're bowling badly after 5 bowlers than that's fine. But it's always worth a try!
