International Debutant
Welcome back to ODI cricket Kyle, a couple of wickets is a top effort mate.

Hoyboy - as has been said bit of a rough start but keep ya head up mate.

Good effort by the team all round, Markus and Butler were solid and well supported at the top. Keep up the good work blokes.

There was a certain N Nichani sitting on the sideline draped in an Indian flag and the best part came when i got to raise my bat to the crowd for 50 and stick my finger up at him.

Funny, because when I looked up when we were fielding he was draped in the Stars and Stripes...

Unfortunately not much chance of a live sim, as I'm extremely busy currently. I'll try my best for the 3rd ODI, however.

CW XI in India
2nd One Day International

We're back for more cricket, as the scene shifts to Pune. Chris Butler's wonderful strokeplay, matched by a clear return to form for Neil Pickup sealed a close win over India at Ahmedabad and a 1-0 CW lead in the series.

For the Cricket Web XI, the team is unchanged in the search for an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

India has made one key change, with Yuvraj Singh making way for Ramesh Powar, who bolsters the bowling. Ganguly has also hinted at changes to the batting order, so it will be interesting to see how he manages his men today.

We expect another keenly fought match here at Pune, although the team batting first will meet the better of the conditions. Recent matches here have indicated that batting under lights in the initial stages of the innings can be a difficult proposition.

Goff has called HEADS and this time won the toss. Without hesitation, he's elected to bat first.

Well bowled, well batted. Shame about Blewy getting out on 94 - he must have been pretty close to CW's fastest ODI century? Key wickets fell everywhere. Did I mention excellent catching, too? Only Broadie missed one, and his two early wickets almost won us the game.

Still, I'm a bit worried about them opening bowlers...

And that'll teach AA for hitting that 6 off me last game!

It was all part of an elaborate plan to ensure they retain him, thus making our job easier :D
