I'm not sure exactly where he'd come in my personal rankings, but the big surprise omission so far for me is John Snow - I had always thought he was exceptionally highly rated in these parts.

On ability he's England's best fast bowler but a few factors reduced his career to modest proportions. Not quite as modest as Larwood who's presence is rather bonkers.

No need to stop Imo.Spofforth for no.26(are we counting him?? Otherwise adcock.
I haven't been counting him as I've been excluding 19th century players from this list (and I would have voted for him about a dozen places ago so wouldn't feel right shoehorning him in now!), but there's no firm rule about it - you can pick him if you want to.
