Don’t know how one can compare Hobbs and Hutton with post-uncovered players such as Viv and Sachin. I doubt any living person saw both Hobbs and Sachin for example. So, any meaningful comparison is impossible.

These lists should be separate for covered vs uncovered wicket eras IMO.

If any living person saw Hobbs play they would have seen Sachin too.

But just as an example of a non living person Bradman saw plenty of both
