- 2.5 Demeza to Smith: OUT! That rushed onto him as he tried to play the pull shot. Very well taken by Demeza as that flew back at his face.
- 2.6 Demeza to Kearsley: DRIVEN away! Great shot through the covers. FOUR!
- 11.4 Patrick to Kearsley: DROPPED! Perfect away-seamer, edged to second slip, and put down. Wilshere has had a good game up till now, but he'd take that catch 9 times out of 10.
- 14.2 Collins to Kearsley: Dragged on! Not a very good shot from Kearsley. Overconfident there and Collins gets a crucial breakthrough!
- 22.1 Collins to Fitzsimmons: Too short and PULLED AWAY! SIX of the best from the ex-Blue.
- 29.5 Fuller to Fitzsimmons: Short and well-lined... hook shot! Patrick runs around in the deep. And he's...juggled... TAKEN! Very good recovery there. The big fish is caught! 7.1 overs left in the day...
- 39.6 Demeza to Blackman: driven to cover and a direct hit! Blackman has to go in the most unfortunate of manners. Run out when he was starting to look really good.
