With a lead of 162, we should have this in the bag... but lets really push hard now. Four days left is a lot of time for batting and we should be able to put this out of reach for the Greens.

Fantastic display by the seamers, they really pushed hard and did the trick, Hancock in particular - 6/24 is amazing.
*points* laugh* you just wait !

Morning Session Day Three

Tea: Green 7/0 (2 ov)
Stumps: Green 159/5 (35 ovs)

Green 2nd innings, target to win: 280

Code:
Malone c Jasotharan	b Comley 43
Scott lbw b Wright 23
Lezama c & b Hancock 6
Garven c Jasotharan	b Comley 5
Gaukroger	run out 0
Vaughan not out 103
Cunningham	not out 85
Total 280/5 (60.4 ovs)

Thomas 13.4-0-58-0
Wright 18-1-58-1
Hancock 13-2-59-1
Comley 9-1-63-2
Rai 7-2-32-0
0.1 Thomas to Malone, we're still firing in bullets here, full and swinging in, Malone stands there and watches the ball thunder into the pads, not out says the umpire
1.6 Tea. Good hitting off Wright sees five runs cut off the target, time is not going to be an issue here!
2.1 Thomas to Scott, slices outside the off stump, it's gone to Pitt...who can't hold on.
2.6 Thomas to Scott, full, on the stumps, glances down leg and gets four, into double figures.
9.2 Wright to Scott, full, easily dabbed into the leg side for a single.
11.6 Wright to Scott, full, on the stumps, tries to pull it but is trapped by the outswing, lbw for 23, fails to outscore Wright!
13.5 Wright to Malone, short, tries to pull, it's a half hearted shot to midwicket, Rai can pluck that one out of the air but can't quite get a hold of it, Malone stays in.
14.3 Hancock to Malone, Hancock got 6/24 in the first, Malone is not daunted, smacks the ball through the covers for four
17.3 Wright to Lezama, pulled for four through midwicket, good shot, fourth boundary in as many overs
18.2 Hancock to Lezama, full, tries to pull again, miscues the shot and he's given a return catch, Hancock holds on easily for his seventh of the match, two down and still 209 to get.
21.1 Comley to Garven, good length, outside off, Garven drives right into the waiting hands of Jasotharan, just fifteen for that wicket, Malone is the key man here
22.6 Hancock to Malone, dabs into the off side, sets off, but runs out his batting partner! Four down and this is shaping up to be rather anticlimactic.
23.4 Comley to Malone, Jasotharan holds on again! Yet another batting collapse, they're five down for 88, and the target of 280 looks far, far away
31.5 Comley to Vaughan, half-century partnership up with a single.
34.6 Really remarkable comeback here towards the end of the day - Vaughan and Cunningham have put on 61 for the fifth wicket, and brought some, if not all, hope back to the Green camp.
40.1 Wright to Vaughan, dabs into the off side for a single, half-century up.
41.4 Thomas to Vaughan, smacked into the stands, huge SIX to cut the target. Just 85 remaining now.
~46 Cunningham half-century
51.2 Hancock to Cunningham, smashes the ball, huge drive goes to Jasotharan, but he's floored it! 37 to win for the Greens now...
57.4 Wright to Vaughan, two runs and that's a century. Not bad on debut.
60.4 Thomas to Cunningham, outside off, driven through covers and that's FOUR, Green win by five wickets after an outstanding sixth-wicket partnership between Ben Vaughan and Bryce Cunningham, quite possibly rivalling Young and Cloete as the finest of the day.

Man of the Match: Bryce Cunningham

Good stuff, Kyle. :) Good to see Comley getting his first wicket of the season too, hopefully that'll fuel him to get a whole lot more.

Getting close now. We need at least both of these wickets and we need them fast.

Wonder what happened to our bowlers, must have been more than just decent batting to outdo them :S I was certain that the whole "nice batting surface" was a lie after the first three innings. Vaughan and Cunningham were the two Greens players that won that stole that game from us. Absolutely gutted.

Watt 29-3-79-2
Borcich 25-2-61-2
Robbins 7-0-21-0
Bennett 21-4-57-2
Feeney 6-2-16-1
0.4 Kennett to Smith, full ball, swings in, Smith takes it with bat and pad together, ball balloons up to first slip but falls short, they're still appealing for an lbw, not out
1.2 Watt to Fitzsimmons, FOUR, first boundary.
3.6 Watt to Fitzsimmons, good length, rapped on the pads, appeal, way outside off however
17.2 Borcich to Fitzsimmons, one run, fifty partnership brought up with a gentle glide through the slips region
18.2 Bennett to Fitzsimmons, SIX, hoiked through midwicket, welcome to the Red leg-spinner!
25.3 Watt to Smith, no run, rapped on the pads again
28.5 Bennett to Fitzsimmons, SIX, huge drive from Fitzsimmons brings up the half-century in a slow scoring session
30.6 Kennett to Smith, no run, leaves alone and that's lunch
34.1 Kennett to Smith, one run, drives through mid on, Robbins picks up, 100 up for Black
34.2 Kennett to Fitzsimmons, FOUR, booming cover drive from Fitzsimmons, moves on to 66
34.3 Kennett to Fitzsimmons, OUT! short ball, tries to drive again, gets an awkward edge and Bennett holds on at backward point, good start for Black however
35.2 Borcich to Smith, OUT! second opener gone! Smith cuts outside off, poorly executed, Feeney takes the catch and Smith is gone, exposes the middle order
42.3 Watt to Kearsley, no run, tempting ball outside the off stump, Kearsley gets a thin outside edge but a diving Mamesh can't hold on!
49.3 Robbins to Kearsley, FOUR, pulls with ease through midwicket, 150 up for Black
51.1 Feeney to Blackman, FOUR, half-century partnership up with a nice looking straight drive
52.1 Bennett to Blackman, OUT! drive attempted, deceived by the flight, ball goes through bat and pad and Bennett has his man, Black three down and still interestingly poised.
61.6 Watt to Kearsley, no run, not interested at all, tea is taken with Black in control at 187 for 3
68.4 Kennett to Dubb-Lynch, SIX, SHOT! flies miles off the edge and well into the stands, fifty partnership up, the third of this innings so far
70.2 Borcich to Dubb-Lynch, OUT! feathered inside edge from Dubb-Lynch, Mamesh clings onto the ball, Borcich strikes with the second ball of the spell!
77.5 Bennett to Wilson, OUT! another one deceived by the Bennett turn, really getting plenty out of this dead pitch, Wilson can only edge behind and out for 12
79.2 Bennett to Kearsley, FOUR, drives well to the boundary and gets his half-century, off 133 balls
79.6 New ball taken
83.1 Watt to Thompson, SIX, thumped out of the ground, Red not accurate with this new cherry
85.5 Watt to Thompson, OUT, repeat flies to the hand of Markus, brief cameo of 27 cut short
88.1 Kennett to Warwick, OUT!, outside off and Warwick gets a thin edge, taken by Feeney at second slip, this new ball turned out to be a key after all
89.4 Watt to Kearsley, OUT!, that's the one they wanted! full and on the stumps, Kearsley can't get bat to that at all, Kearsley is lbw for 58 to leave the match interestingly poised.
89.6 Stumps drawn, Watt rounds off the day with a wicket maiden.
93.4 Watt to Richards, one run, drives to midwicket where Dobson stands, Richards attempts the run, Hoy dashes across but is saved by Dobson's missed throw
103.6 Commendable accumulation from Richards and Hoy here.
104.2 Feeney to Richards, OUT!, leg spin does the trick! Richards doesn't quite read that ball, it's taken by Kennett on the leg side, just Pickup to get now
108.6 Feeney to Pickup, no run, leaves alone, fourth successive maiden
109.4 Kennett to Hoy, OUT!, bowling change gives success as Hoy nicks behind, third catch for Mamesh, Hoy gone for 14 to leave Pickup alone, three bonus points to either team
