So much for that....:(
Not too much to worry about mate, get them in the next innings. :)

EDIT: Pitt out now... time for me and Jaso to play our opposite roles again, hopefully for quite some time!

EDIT: Crap. :(

This is quite the collapse by the middle order... someone needs to get their head into the right state of mind and really stick around.

You people always drop too many catches.

Lame to miss the sim, was good to finally get some decent bowling going.
Well batted Pete in both innings, Cloete in the first and Goffy in the second, well bowled everyone, basically.

Nice win there guuys, good performances all round, now it should be interesting to see how this match turns out.

Stumps Day One: Green 75/9

Cricket Web Green 1st innings

Lezama b Hancock 20
Garven c Wright	b Hancock 11
Gaukroger	c Rai b Hancock 0
Vaughan b Wright 0
Cunningham	run out 11
Bharanidharan	lbw b Hancock 8
Weber not out 11
Rose c G Nayak	b Hancock 2
Cameron c Burke b Hancock 5
Total 84 (32.2 ov)

Thomas 6-0-16-1
Wright 7-1-17-2
Hancock 10.2-2-24-6
Comley 5-0-22-0
Rai 4-2-5-0
0.4 Thomas to Scott, lovely start, full and fast and Scott pads up, close to the stumps, umpire says it pitched outside off
2.1 Thomas to Malone, good length ball, on the off stump, goes dead straight but Malone misjudges the pace, exposes off and middle and it's hit both, out for four, that's the wicket they wanted!
5.1 Wright to Scott, cuts into the off side, sets off for a single, Lezama says no, confusion, Thomas has a shy at the stumps but misses, Lezama dashes across and the single is taken.
5.4 Wright to Lezama, attempted leg glance, goes badly wrong and the ball balloons up in the air, Wright can't quite get both hands to that and it falls behind him, Lezama survives
7.3 Wright to Scott, attempted cut, nowhere near getting it right, the ball cannoons off the bottom edge and into middle stump, out for 11
12.2 Hancock to Garven, Garven's confident here, he's gone for the shot but it's taken the outside edge, Kyle Wright hangs on and the Greens are suddenly three down, they really need their deep batting now!
12.3 Hancock to Gaukroger, full, on the stumps, Gaukroger doesn't get her bat down in time, huge appeal but umpire signals it's going down leg
12.6 Hancock to Gaukroger, full, on the stumps, fends away, it's gone to Rai at short leg, what a first over from Hancock!
13.2 Wright to Vaughan, it's another! Golden duck for Vaughan, a pathetic inside edge and the ball shatters the stumps, five down for thirty-two!
17.6 Comley to Lezama, single into the off side, and Green have avoided the follow on.
20.1 Hancock to Lezama, full, on the stumps, it's gone right into them as Lezama didn't know which way that ball was going to swing, lovely bowling from Hancock and Green are six down for 55, with Lezama's total easily the highest so far.
21.3 Comley to Bharanidharan, it's a dangerous run they're setting off for here, Cunningham dives but he can't reach in time, he's the third man out for 11 today!
24.1 Hancock to Bharanidharan, slow and short, awkward bounce, the ball sticks to the pitch, Bharanidharan is confused and the ball rolls into his pad, they're all up in appeal here, and he's out - 70 for eight!
26.1 Hancock to Rose, and he's at it again! Gary Nayak at fifth slip holds on to the catch, five-for from Hancock, Green just doesn't seem to have the energy to dig themselves out of this hole, can they bat out the over and see it to the end of the day?
26.6 Hancock to Weber, short, ducked under, at least they've survived, nevertheless massive session for the Colts.
31.3 Rai to Weber, outside off, cuts, down to third man for four, Weber onto 11. Ominous signs?
32.2 Hancock to Cameron, short, cuts, right down into Burke's waiting gloves, Weber is left on 11, and Green are all out for 84 - their second sub-100 score so far

Good to see the final wicket not being given away cheaply, and the small contributions combined with the opener's 60's have allowed us to make a competitive tally which I'm confident our bowlers can defend... however our middle order needs to perform in the next innings if we're to really take this game.

EDIT: Great to see Thomas once again digging in early. :) Wright too! :D
EDIT: Aaaand Hancock joins the party with a couple of scalps, this bowling is great. :) Best FC seam attack in the league, I tell ya.

Nick nicks another - seems our three seamers are fighting for best bowling average for the season. Is this still day one, Vimes?

EDIT: Wow, it was too. 19 wickets in one day!

With a lead of 162, we should have this in the bag... but lets really push hard now. Four days left is a lot of time for batting and we should be able to put this out of reach for the Greens.

Fantastic display by the seamers, they really pushed hard and did the trick, Hancock in particular - 6/24 is amazing.

G Nayak c Weber b Rose 21

Rose 15-3-43-5
Cameron 3-0-16-0
Weber 14-5-24-2
Malone 5-0-12-1
0.1 Cunningham to Pitt, good length ball, on the stumps, Pitt tries to drive but only ends up with a bottom edge, Cunningham dives forward and takes a stunning catch, pushing the momentum towards Green again here
2.5 Cunningham to Nayak, good length ball, outside off, Nayak pushes away, it's gone to Bharanidharan but he's dropped it, crucial!
5.5 Rose to Burke, he's been costly again has Rose, comes in now, bowls, outside off, Burke slashes, it's flown up, up, up, Garven runs to long on and holds it! Good catch, Rose has his first wicket, Towns steps in now
9.4 Rose to Nayak, full toss outside the off stump, Nayak wants to slash at it, swings just a tad away, he's nearly middled it but it still doesn't go quite where he wanted it, Weber at backward point jumps and holds on! A Green comeback on the cards?
9.6 Rose to Jasotharan, full, swinging in, Jasotharan doesn't have a clue about how to play that and he's lbw, we have a collapse on our hands!
10.1 Cunningham to Towns, bowls, good length on the stumps, Towns parries away to short leg, it's just gone wide of Rose!
11.6 Rose to Malthus-Howell, full length, tries to push it into the off side, miscues it and that's ballooned up in the air, we had 84 in the first innings - remember, Green were 32/5, Colts are now 31/5!
13.4 Rose to Towns, full, outside off, Towns cuts, edges, right into the hands of Gaukroger. Rose has five for 17, what a way to revenge the first innings!
16.2 Cameron to Rai, full, gets his bat down on it and drives hard, straight, it's gone to the boundary for four, Colts nearing 50.
17.6 Lunch, Colts 51 for 6. What more does this match have in store for us?
23.1 Weber to Rai, on the stumps, tries to block that one, the ball hits the inside edge and goes into leg stump, just what the Colts did not need at this stage
28.4 Malone to Comley, the first ball between these two players, full, outside off, and Comley's driven - and it's another catch! Bharanidharan holds on and Comley has departed for 7!
31.4 Weber to Hancock, more wickets, this time it's Ben Vaughan who takes the catch, Hancock out for 17, which is amazingly the fourth highest score of the past two innings - and the eighth-highest of the match.
31.5 Weber to Thomas, return catch chance, Weber can't quite hold on to the poor shot
32.1 Malone to Wright, two runs, Colts are past the Green total.
35.6 Weber to Thomas, short, fends behind, Lezama can't get to that one, Thomas survives again
37.4 Weber to Thomas, short, outside leg, hopeless delivery, Thomas goes forward and attempts an on drive, misses completely, the ball is too far away for Lezama to get to, Thomas survives again
37.5 Weber to Thomas, full, on the stumps, Thomas drives, 100 up for Colts
40.6 Rose to Wright, second boundary of the over, Wright moves to 23, he's the highest scorer of the Colts' innings!
44.4 Cunningham to Thomas, drives, hit hard, Thomas starts running, well picked up by Rose there in the outfield, throw comes in to the bowler's end and Thomas is well short, out for 10 and the Colts have set a target of 280
