Pickup 10-0-43-2
Halsey 10-0-34-2 (1w)
0.3 Hoy to Shoaib M, one run, off the mark with a quick single dashed into the off side
0.5 Hoy to Shoaib M, FOUR, short with extra bounce, slashed through midwicket, first boundary
2.6 Hoy to Salman, FOUR, offers width outside the off stump, Salman cuts and through the slips for another boundary
3.2 Patrick to Salman, FOUR, good line and length from Patrick, Salman steps back and attempts the drive, ball flies off the outside edge between gully and third slip, streaky boundary
3.6 Patrick to Salman, two runs, Pakistan getting off to a nice start here, this one short and with width and Salman drives to cover, not good contact and only two runs
6.1 Hoy to Salman, FOUR, juicy delivery outside off, driven away square
6.2 Hoy to Salman, FOUR, short and hooks, down to backward square
6.3 Hoy to Salman, FOUR, this one too wide, Salman says thank you by driving him through point again
9.5 Patrick to Shoaib M, no run, swings at a widish delivery, the first time the bowler has had the advantage for some time
10.0 Camps on for Hoy
11.0 Robbins on for Patrick. Good over the last one, just the single from Salman.
14.2 Camps to Salman, FOUR, yet again, another delivery outside the off stump, Salman steps back and drives hard through cover
14.3 Camps to Salman, FOUR, shorter and wider, Salman tempted into the drive, catches the outside edge but it's enough to take him past fifty
14.5 Camps to Salman, OUT, there it is! catch held well at mid off by Patrick, as Salman drives one time too many, he's hogged the strike and made a quick 53, but struggled against the change bowlers.

Code:
Salman Butt c Patrick b Camps 53 (61b, 8x4)
Score: 73/1
18.4 Robbins to Shoaib M, no run, the loudest appeal yet, Robbins has been hitting Shoaib's pads but mostly with a poor line and length, resulting in a number of rejected appeals. This one might have been out but the umpire's got so used to turning them down now
20.5 Pickup to Shoaib M, no run, lucky escape for Shoaib, good length delivery turning away, Shoaib sees it early and drives, catches the bottom edge straight to Butler at mid off, comes at him too quickly and doesn't react
21.3 Halsey to Younis, OUT, spin does it! Sliced shot from Younis to Goff in the gully, well held diving catch

Code:
Younis Khan c Goff b Halsey 8 (16b)
Score: 102/2
23.5 Halsey to Yousuf, one run, quiet single into the off side, really been struggling to read the spinners today
26.6 Pickup to Yousuf, FOUR, finally, Pickup strays on the stumps after bowling an immaculate line, Yousuf pulls away for a boundary
27.2 Halsey to Shoaib, FOUR, smashing shot through the off side, Pakistan wrestling back here
28.4 Patrick to Shoaib, no run, beaten outside the off stump, good delivery swinging away from the batsman
30.1 Patrick to Yousuf, OUT, clever bowling! Patrick serves up one just a bit short, hopes that Yousuf will be pressured by the run rate, and he slices that one to Hoy - another catch held!

Code:
Mohammad Yousuf c Hoy b Patrick 13 (26b, 1x4)
Score: 133/3
30.2 Patrick to Inzamam, no run, ooh! quick delivery, beats Inzamam outside the off stump. Patrick delivering a crucial spell here
34.1 Patrick to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, rare boundary from Shoaib, steps back and drives calmly, somehow finding the gap in a stacked off-side field
36.1 Patrick to Shoaib Malik, FOUR, strays on the stumps, glanced down to backward square leg for anopther boundary
39.2 Halsey to Shoaib Malik, OUT, big wicket! Pakistan had been cutting loose, scoring plenty of runs, now Shoaib Malik inside edges a drive onto off stump, Halsey has his second wicket as reward for tight bowling

Code:
Shoaib Malik b Halsey 77 (106b, 7x4)
Score: 177/4
39.6 Halsey to Afridi, no run, and yet another swing and miss from Afridi. One run off an excellent over, varied the pace and flight well
40.4 Pickup to Afridi, OUT, tempting ball outside off stump, Afridi drives, straight, Halsey is in the deep and holds a fine catch

Code:
Shahid Afridi c Halsey b Pickup 1 (6b)
Score: 180/5
43.1 Hoy to Kamran, FOUR, short, cuts, down to third man where there's a fielding error, three runs given away there
43.6 Hoy to Kamran, OUT, another catch! good length ball outside off, Kamran flashes his bat out for a brief moment, the ball hits something and goes through to Chaulk, pleading appeal, the umpire's given it

Code:
Kamran Akmal c Chaulk b Hoy 9 (16b, 1x4)
Score: 193/6
45.6 Hoy to Abdul Razzaq, no run, beaten outside the off stump and that's a maiden over! What a comeback from Hoy
47.1 Hoy to Abdul Razzaq, OUT, and the inevitable. Slices a bottom edge to Butler, and Pakistan will be roundly disappointed after failing to put away their advantage

Code:
Abdul Razzaq c Butler b Hoy 2 (12b)
Score: 199/7
47.2 Hoy to Naved-ul-Hasan, OUT, full, fast, strikes middle stump. Rana Naved was nowhere near that ball

Code:
Rana Naved-ul-Hasan b Hoy 0 (1b)
Score: 199/8
47.4 Hoy to Shoaib A, one run, prods at that and it goes through past first slip, 200 up
48.2 Pickup to Shoaib A, OUT, slider from Pickup, Shoaib couldn't pick that correctly and gets a thin inside edge as the ball strikes off stump

Code:
Shoaib Akhtar b Pickup 1 (4b)
Score: 200/9
48.5 Pickup to Umar Gul, two wides, what was that? Pickup suddenly strays far down the leg side, even Chaulk can't gather that correctly, a couple of wides to spoil his figures. The extras column of six reads very nicely today, though
49.1 Hoy to Inzamam, OUT, well that was all. Fine delivery outside off, swings away, Inzamam swings and gets a thick edge through to Chaulk. Pakistan bowled out for 204, collapsing totally from 177 for three.

Code:
Inzamam-ul-Haq c Chaulk b Hoy 32 (43b, 1x4)
Score: 204

0.0 The eerily silent crowd awaits the entry of the new batsmen. CW XI did extremely well with the ball, some clever bowling changes and excellent leg spin from Halsey throughout ensured Pakistan never got going, and Hoy cleaned up the Pakistani hitters with good help from his fielders.
0.6 Shoaib Akhtar to Camps, FOUR, pitched up outside the off stump, Camps swings and gets nice, clean contact, the ball races away to the cover fence
1.2 Naved-ul-Hasan to Markus, FOUR, another one hit away after pitching outside off and swinging away
3.3 Naved-ul-Hasan to Camps, FOUR, just a cautious prod outside off stump really, goes away through backward point and despite a long chase for Younis he can't stop the ball from going away for four
4.2 Shoaib Akhtar to Markus, no run, outside off stump again, this one moved into the batsman, who takes it with bat and pad together, massive appeal, long deliberation from the umpire but eventually he shaked his head
7.6 Naved-ul-Hasan to Camps, no run, driven straight to the point fielder again. Maiden over.
12.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Markus, FOUR, finally a boundary as Shoaib pitches this one short, nearly a bouncer, Markus is on top of it and hooks for a one-bounce four
13.4 Umar Gul to Markus, no ball, three runs, oh dear, oversteps by a mile and offers a full toss to Markus, who drives calmly, doesn't make all that good contact and well fielded to stop the four
18.6 Abdul Razzaq to Markus, FOUR, Markus keeps up the run rate, this one a pull shot through midwicket, which brings up the half-century
24.6 Shoaib Malik to Camps, one run, flighted delivery which Camps takes in his stride, dabbed down to point for a very quick single, that's four off the over and CW XI are exactly on target here. No extravagance whatsoever, but they're doing the job
26.6 Shoaib Malik to Markus, four wides, Malik flung that one down the leg side in desperation, Markus nowhere near it, neither Kamran
28.3 Abdul Razzaq to Camps, FOUR, short, cuts, backward point misfields
28.4 Abdul Razzaq to Camps, FOUR, fuller and Camps drives back past the bowler, rare quick runs from Camps here
29.5 Shahid Afridi to Markus, FOUR, pierces the field between cover and point
29.6 Shahid Afridi to Markus, wide, Afridi gets that one all wrong, wide outside the off stump and picked up well by Kamran
29.6 Shahid Afridi to Markus, FOUR, another drive through the off side. The treating of the spinners have been the difference between the sides
31.1 Shahid Afridi to Camps, one run, quiet stroke into the on side. That's the 150 partnership - and a ten-wicket win still on the cards
35.1 Naved-ul-Hasan to Camps, no run, Camps is hit on the pads about a foot outside the off stump, desperate appeal from Naved-ul-Hasan
36.5 Abdul Razzaq to Markus, FOUR, drives square and that's the century! Markus takes the single, then realises that ball went for four, raises his bat to everyone around, CW needing 29 off 13.1 overs. A comprehensive win on the cards
42.4 Afridi to Markus, FOUR, dropped! a huge slog from Markus, goes to the deep, and there's Inzamam waiting for the catch...and it goes under him. Horrible fielding and CW pass 200
43.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Markus, one run, and that's it. A leisured single off the final ball, and this, I believe, is a CW record as far as opening partnerships go. 205 runs, 262 balls, 18 boundaries, and total domination as they knew exactly what score to get.
