Threes has defied his critics with a polished performance in the opening frame against alternative, clinching it 91-47 in a dominant display. Alternative will need to get his act together and put Threes claims to piratehood behind him if he's going to stay in the CCRBT.

Time for another update thanks to Campbell's Chunky Soup...
Alternative pulled off a sensational comeback in the second frame to send it into a decider. Down by almost 20 points in a low scoring affair, he managed a successful snooker and then gradually turned the tide with some key shots, while Threes choked terribly. It finished 44-41, and the third frame is underway.

Thriller in Vegas
Another update thanks to Campbell's Chunky Soup...
In an absolute thriller on table 3, Alternative has overpowered his younger rival, Threes, coming from 1 frame to nil down to take the 3 and decisive frame 43-39.
The closing moments was full of nervous stroke play and poor shots before alternative finally took advantage of the pirate's mistake on the blue to take the match.
Threes is seen below digging a hole for himself to crawl in.

Barney Rubble has informed me on MSN that he still can't connect, so he's withdrawing and will be replaced by Casson.

The evening's snooker came to an exciting conclusion as Fuller snapped his losing streak against the favourites with a solid frame win over Murphy. It was Murphy's first defeat in 16 warmup matches, the longest anyone had managed.
The other undefeated player in the first two days was Demeza, but his streak was also broken earlier in the evening by debutant Casson. Casson stole the show with a great performance, as nothing went Demeza's way. They played a second frame where the third seed turned it around for a win.
