CW Decides The XI of the Decade

Cricketer Of The Year
3. Sangakkara
4. Disgraced former Australian captain
5. Kohli

Others horrifically unlucky, this is very tough. Couldn't argue if any of Williamson, Amla, Younis got in.

Alrighty well... at this point we have Smith and Kohli as locks, with Sanga and Williamson actually tied on votes. My personal opinion is that KW had a bigger impact on the decade than Sanga, both were absolutely class and I don’t think you lose much either way. I’m sure Sangakkara and AB will rear their heads when we come to the 6 and 7 spots.

I think we’ll go for a spinner next.

Ravichandran Ashwin | Rangana Herath | Ravindra Jadeja | Nathan Lyon | Saeed Ajmal | Shakib al Hasan | Graeme Swann | Yasir Shah

Pretty crazy that its Lyon 364, Herath 363 and Ashwin 362 wickets this decade.

I actually find Rangana vs Ravi so difficult.

Ill go Herath. I just prefer his style more

Lyon is arguably the most versatile of that bunch, let's not just blow our wads because Ashwin and Herath got idiots out on SC pitches

Ashwin. None of the spinning options are super ideal but I think he was the most "balanced" spinner in terms of success in all conditions, and his batting was also a key factor.
