The write ups on Laker are mixed.Very surprised that Jim Laker didn't get more votes. Only need to glance at each page to see that Donald is leading comfortably.
Donald had a longer career with arguably a better record (even allowing for the higher SR for spinners, Donald still has the higher wkts/mat). I think Donald > Laker is understandable.Very surprised that Jim Laker didn't get more votes. Only need to glance at each page to see that Donald is leading comfortably.
okayHave probably revealed my liking of australia here. not australia vs not australia the hardest here for me. australia australia who I think is more australia, and struggled between australia and australia, but I australia think australia is probably the australia australia ever.

You know Laker's Test career spanned over 11 years while Donald was under 10. I just love Laker's 19/90 that I just find it impossible to vote Donald ahead of him.Donald had a longer career with arguably a better record (even allowing for the higher SR for spinners, Donald still has the higher wkts/mat). Yea I meant in terms of # of Tests. Since the rate of Tests was lower in Laker's era you could argue that longevity is similar for both. I think Laker is defined by that match - take it away and his average jumps almost 2 points! You know Laker's Test career spanned over 11 years while Donald was under 10.
