Donald had a longer career with arguably a better record (even allowing for the higher SR for spinners, Donald still has the higher wkts/mat). I think Donald > Laker is understandable.

Have probably revealed my liking of spinners here. Laker vs Donald the hardest here for me. Davo over SF who I think is more myth than reality, and struggled between Warne and Lillee, but I truly think Warne is probably the greatest bowler ever.


Bill O'Reilly should at least go down to the last ten. Can't believe he isn't here.

Yea I meant in terms of # of Tests. Since the rate of Tests was lower in Laker's era you could argue that longevity is similar for both. I think Laker is defined by that match - take it away and his average jumps almost 2 points!
