Amazed to see Shoaib & Waqar get through this far considering Wasim & Imran were both eliminated last round. Funnily enough, SF Barnes, whom Wasim lost out to last round, gets my vote ahead of Davidson this time around. The two toughest calls in my mind were Laker v Donald & Murali v Steyn.

A couple of tight ones there and some very worthy greats will be eliminated, but overall I think this round is easier to call than the previous one. Looking ahead, the first and fourth QFs will be massive, though the other two I reckon will be pretty clear cut.

Marshall will beat Warne IMO (assuming Hadlee doesn't, which he might). In fact, based on my view of CW preferences in this kind of thing, I reckon Marshall might already have gotten past his closest Australian rival.
