But the Bairstow one is definitely out too because the keeper threw the ball immediately he received it. In both cases the batsman isn’t looking to run, rather they’re both just entitled Pommy idiots who typically think the laws don’t apply to them.

Of course, there have been "entitled Aussie idiots" as well (see also the original Ashes Test in 1882 - harder to find on YouTube), and at least one "entitled West Indian" for which the decision was actually overturned.

Yup this came to mind right away. Murali had left to congratulate Sanga on his 100. I will never forget the umpire signaling Murali to get back and Sanga'a face turning from joy to horror.
