Ok, to continue the theme, a pretty easy one...
Who is the only English player to have made 1000 runs, taken 100 wickets and 100 catches in Test cricket?

Who holds the record for the most Ducks in First Class Cricket ? And how Many ? (Devil Ducky may know this  It may be one of his cousins perhaps :D )

Good question. No idea. Never even thought about it !

Considering that he must be a bowler who played enough matches to score so many ducks, he should have taken quite a good number of wickets too.

The guessing game begins : Eric Hollies - who scored some 1600 runs and took 2700 odd wickets

He did play 2 tests . But luckily managed 2 , DNB, 1 and DNB , thus avoiding the Duck in Tests !! (Going by the number of Ducks he managed to get in his career, this has to be considered an achievement !! )

In fact his scores were 2 n.o and 1 n.o in the 2 tests , thus giving him no average in test cricket or if you like an average of infinity .

Here's another clue then - Test Debut 1939, Under Walter Hammond other famous names in the Team were Sir Len Hutton, Bill Edrich, Hedley Verity and Les Ames .

Not much of a help. Need more clues.

Though this can be used to look up the name from the career figures, it is too early for such desperate measures :)

OK.. my question:

What is the highest aggregate of runs in a match for both sides, in both Test matches and ODIs?

Perks made 181 0s and 0*s. Hollies made 270, but more than half are notouts.

Charlie Parker made 150 0s and 27 0*s

Thanks. Good question.
