IMO Players who crossed all the limits while sledging were Michael Slater, Ian Healy, Shane Warne, Glen Mcgrath, Mat Hayden, Ricky Ponting (early years) and there is one thing common in almost all of them either made their debut or played a major role under Mark Taylor and Steve Waugh.

WTF ?? Gavaskar was considered kingpins of match fixing ?? Says WHO ?? You ? because that is your personal opinion What a load of Horse **** !! :horse:

Do You even know how much money was there ?? 15000 USD. Dude it may seem a lot to you, but for someone as rich as Gavaskar, it is like my penny collector. My Penny collector has about 10000 coins from 20 different countries.

Mr. Gavaskar had admitted that the foreign currency belonged to him. He claimed that the travellers cheques were for $3000 and £ 7,500 received as allowances for personal expenses from Intext group of companies and that the foreign currencies were kept in the locker due to renovation work being carried out at his residence.

I know that explanation may not be enough for you. 8-)
well obviously hes going to have a brilliant excuse to come up with it, all im saying here is that there were rumours that floated around at the time that he maybe involved, i personally think he did. you have every right to believe that he didnt. but since it is all opinion id say neither of us can prove to the other whether he was involved or not.

Ever heard of Innocent until proven GUILTY ??

Okay let me spice it up little bit. If someone(like you) personally thinks that starting from WG Grace to Don Bradman to Geof Boycott to Viv Richards to Naseer Husain all were involved in Match fixing. Can you prove they were not ?? :-O

and if you look carefully ive never actually said that gavaskar was guilty, or that he was proven to be a match fixer. my point was simply to elaborate that there have been several players in the past who have been match fixers and have gotten away with it. cronje, one must conceive did it once, got caught and was the biggest shame in intl cricket.
another player who most people believe was a fixer was akram, again there wasnt considerable evidence to prove that he was one.

Dont elaborate, please., You have already said that in your opinion 'He did' fix matches and was the 'Ring Leader' of match-fixing.

So in other words in your personal opinion, he is indeed 'guilty' of match fixing.

yes and if you had taken the time to read the words just before that ' its personal opinion and a rumour'

i do believe that there were a couple who were somewhat involved, stewart has been accused once or twice. personally though i think that most of this happened in the sub continent, that was where all the money was, and thats where all the allegations have been made.

Well, W.G. Grace actually was a cheat. He did the opposite to the guys seen walking recently, and wouldn't leave when he was legitimately out.....

And most teams played played in the subcontient, so all the players who ever played in the subcontinent were involved in match-fixing.

First The Above and when mark confronted, you came with following :-

Only logical conclusion comes out is players who played their home games in the subcontinet were involved in match fixing, and obviously English, Aussie, SA, WI, NZ, ZIM, Kenyan players couldn't have played their home games in Subcontinent, can they ??

Looking forward to hear another spin from you.

how about reading my posts first instead of coming up with your own conclusions. that post was there only to make a clarification for the previous post, and the previous post was made to clarify the one before that. the initial post was this :
"i do believe that there were a couple(referring to english players) who were somewhat involved, stewart has been accused once or twice. personally though i think that most of this happened in the sub continent, that was where all the money was, and thats where all the allegations have been made."

so where again have i said that players from the sub continent were the only people involved? you seem to take every argument that i make into a racist argument, the plain truth is that almost every match fixing incident reported(be it by an international or a sub continental player) has happened in the sub continent says enough to suggest that thats where the money is.
