Won by 40 runs but got absolute crap ratings. Oh well, shows how they dont mean anything
Not really, it just shows that you won by 40 runs (well, 43).

Fairly typical game mine, get some wickets early and then absolutely nothing for ages whilst a defensive bottom respectable with crap secondaries hits 72* off 80 against proficients, strong and a near respectable with very good consistency.

As I say, standard Battrick stuff.

that bad eh? you may aswell stop playing it really, seeing as it clearly just frustrates you every week.

both Magloire and Abdul Kadir gone now, and with Abdul Kadir goes the last chance of a competetive total. 211-4 in the 38th.

I will do if the FC 'engine' is as bad as the ODI 'engine' - the ODI engine being about as advanced as 'contrive win to team with better ratings 99% of the time'. No fun in a game that is so predictable, can't even GFI to get better ratings these days - completely devoid of any strategy or skill (thanks to the training bug to act as leveller) except for the transfer market, which you have to be online at the right time for anyway.

Stop complaining Scaly... have you ever thought it might be that you're a incredibly bad tactician? From what I can gather, you still manage to struggle with a much better team. I can't say I have the same problem, and I don't think you'd find many people who do.

Nice recovery from 41/3 to make 300/4, big partnership between Azheruddin and Khurshid did most of the work, but I expect they'll probably chase 'em down anyway.

 It's quite clear that the whole world is out to get Scaly.

ooh Atkins takes 2 wickets in 2 balls including Pinnock for 56 who was running away with it. That makes things a bit more interesting 94-3 in the 17th

What a thumping. Got thrashed for 353. Were never really in it, though we managed to do well to get to 310. Well, I'm just happy I've got my two YPs to slot into the bowling. (They've had absolutely crap fitness, so I haven't been playing them.

Batting first against Andy's Magical Ponies, currently 21-0 after 3 overs. It's a cracked pitch, partially cloudy and windy, and I've got a full-strength bowling lineup so I think 250-ish will be a decent target. Really hoping for a big score from Wynand as he's been in shocking form all season.

156-5 now after 31, Atkins showing what i've been missing the last 2 matches when i've been using a worthless bowler in his place by accident, he has 4-26 from 9 overs.

Keane takes 3 in the 41st and Abdul Kadir knocks the last over in the 42nd. Bushpigs 215 all out. Lancashire win by 93 runs.

There you go Nibbs, unexpected win, but it throws the group winners spot wide open, with the winner of scaly vs nibbs in with a chance
