Hmm my match against Got Spin just skipped ahead an hour, presumably due to daylight savings. He was 30/0 or thereabouts, then went to 90/3 when the page refreshed.

Got Spin won the toss and elected to bat.
Pitch: Hard and Fast

End of Over 24: 90-3, runrate=3.75
Malik 2-0-9-0
Barnard* 10 (17 balls)
Ridgewell 11 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Makel c. Badley b. Louis 25 (FOW: 74/3)

Very happy with that considering it's a hard and fast pitch, will be happier if I can get Ridgewell cheap. Already got his other gun batsman (Saunders) for 10. Louis has 2-18 (6) and Male 1-16 (5).
Yea, I knew it'd happen after this news bit:

At 0200 tomorrow morning, daylight saving hours start in the UK, meaning that the BT clocks will go forward by 1 hour. This means that the hour between 0200 and 0300 will not occur! All transfer deadlines that occur during this period have been extended by 1 hour, and we have (hopefully) taken steps to ensure that the games in Australia will not jump forward an hour at that point.

Note the hopefully...

Anyway I'm not too fussed because I'm going to bed shortly and my team are 148-1 after 25 overs. Will probably wake up tomorrow to find they only scored around 300 without any good obvious reason (such as clatter of wickets) as to why they scored less than you'd expect.

Decent enough start here against The Conquerors (Blackcaps Fan)

End of Over 31: 154-3, runrate=4.97
Tedstone 6-1-20-2
Mckenzie* 5 (4 balls)
Harrison 21 (35 balls)
Last Wicket: Lewington lbw b. Giles 40 (FOW: 143/3)

Tedstone impressing on debut.

Nice spell from Lewis (10 overs straight through on v. attacking):

End of Over 33: 130-5, runrate=3.94
Louis 10-1-26-4
Ridgewell* 38 (40 balls)
Lambert 1 (11 balls)
Last Wicket: Kewell b. Louis 3 (FOW: 112/5)

Didn't get the big one though, Ridgewell looking ominous. Hopefully the tail will collapse to leave him stranded (either that, or actually get him out).

I must say I'm quite surprised at Canning's bowling efforts this season. He's proficient bowling, mediocre consistency and competent stamina, yet he hardly takes any wickets. I normally have him on very attacking, and he's an attacking player, yet in this game he got 0/47 off his 10, against Marc he got 1/62, and he's taken the grand total of 2 wickets from three league games, at an average of 67.5.

Damn, Lambert just got out for 3 off 27 balls. I was hoping he'd stay in a bit longer as he was really helping my cause. :p Wonder if the matches are going to go back an hour in five minutes...

Erasmus and Tedstone have since wreaked a bit of havoc, with four wickets falling in the last four overs, both of them picking up two. Tedstone finishes with 4/41 on debut, while Erasmus came back well from a poor start.

End of Over 40: 191-8, runrate=4.78
Erasmus 10-0-43-3
Harrison* 45 (59 balls)
Lodge 1 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Eagles b. Erasmus 0 (FOW: 187/8)

Edit:
Dunne takes numbers 10 and 11 to wrap it up.

End of Over 47: 227-10, runrate=4.83
Dunne 8-0-39-2
Harrison* 57 (74 balls)

Poor finishing, but a pretty comfortable total for me to chase:

Got Spin - 215/7 (50 overs)
Ridgewell 81* (88), Pilgrim 31 (36)
Louis 4-26, Male 2-39, Gillespie 1-54

Gillespie had a shocker again, think I'm going to keep trying to sell him and upgrade to a better allrounder before next season.

Bushpigs have set Drunk XI 336 to win

End of Over 2: 16-0, runrate=8.00, reqrunrate=6.67 (335-6)
Houlihan 1-0-6-0
Paterson* 1 (4 balls)
Nutter 6 (8 balls)

Argh! Way to make what should be a simple chase hard. Eagles takes two (Kenna and Canning) in two balls, leaving Griffin and Tedstone at the crease.

End of Over 8: 42-3, runrate=5.25, reqrunrate=4.43 (227-10)
Eagles 4-0-25-3
Griffin* 7 (7 balls)
Tedstone 1 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Canning b. Eagles 0 (FOW: 38/3)

My openers are going a bit psycho at the moment:

End of Over 5: 55-0, runrate=11.00, reqrunrate=3.58 (215-7)
Lambert 3-0-27-0
Wynand* 23 (12 balls)
Ashton 30 (18 balls)

Four sixes already.

Turned out to be easier than I expected, pleasing performance.

Asterix XI 218-1 (26.5 overs)
Ashton 119 (82), Wynand 83* (74)

Have slowed down a bit in the last 10 overs or so, although the last two just went for 17.

ye i thought cameels good bowlers would have got atleast one of them out.
his bowlers kept it pretty tight under 6 an over until the last 10 when Kennedy and Jayausuriya decided to up the tempo and score 99 off them.
