Not really, Kardar was clearly an influential character in Pakistan cricket. I'm not a big fan of one-dayers, so Imrans test results do count for me, and they aren't that special.

Imrans possibly the greatest cricketer I've ever seen, but not sure about his captaincy.

Do you know later in his career Imraan only played and thus captained against major teams like Aus and WI which meant he allowed Javaid Miandad to pick up cheap wins against weak oppo like NZL and SL.

How can you say Imraan's record is not special he got a series win in Eng, India and in addition 3 drawn series against WI when they were at their absolute Zenith, the only blemish in his resume is a series loss in Aus but then he whitwashed them when they were here.
