This time I won't give any opinions, people seem to not like that.

I dare say most people don't really care. Personally, I found the discussion (including your opinions) more interesting than just seeing one word posts.silentstriker said:LOL, ouch.

Well I noticed 1 - Anil being there twice. Also I woule like to Nominate Kapil's 9/83 @ Ahmedabad and Srinath's 8/86 @ Kolkata in replacing One of Kumble's duplicate innings and his 8/141 Vs. australia.silentstriker said:Here are 64:
2 A Kumble 10 for 74 Ind Pak Delhi 1998-99
42 Anil Kumble, 10/74 vs Pakistan, Feroz Shah Kotla 1999
44 Anil Kumble, 8/141 vs Australia, SCG 2004
Can someone make sure there are no duplicates? There might be a couple. I think it wouldnt serve much of a purpose getting to 128 since most of them would not have a realisitic chance of going anywhere. 64 is enough.
Was it an edit or me being dim? Either way, cheerssilentstriker said:Look again.

Any consideration for Srinath's 6/21 Vs. SA ?silentstriker said:Good point, I didn't decide which to put in and which to leave out. I replaced them, and added Geraints' suggestions. Anything else? If thats ok, I'll post the first battle.
Took out Hornibrook, added Srinath. I agree that its a shame that Marshall isn't on there...but I can't add him without taking another out which has equal or better stats.Samuel_Vimes said:Take out Hornibrook 1930.

Looking at the scorecard (rained out day five, Hornibrook's general bowling capabilities, etc.) it was the proverbial sticky. Quote from Wisden: "England had to play their second innings on a pitch so entirely suited to bowlers that in the circumstances they actually accomplished a good performance in scoring as many runs as they did on the last day." It also says something that despite the performance this was Hornibrook's last Test...at the ripe age of 31.
As it is a mild shame that there's no Malcolm Marshall on the list:

Suggestions as to which should be taken out then?Xuhaib said:Asif 5-25vs SL

Two genuine matchwinning performances giving victory from nowhere with very impressive mode of dismissals awell.
