Battle of the Legends

FRAZ

International Captain
Sir Faraz Nawaz.
"Faraz" is a wrong way to spell this name . Have you ever seen an 'A' between F and R when you type frustrated ? other examples are frog , France , French , fresh , frost etc etc . there are only 4 alphabets of Urdu which are used to write Fraz down and why "a" is included while typing Fraz ? It's basically a Persian name and I haven't seen Iranians typing Fraz as Faraz . It means "{prime , highest point , peak , being the best}. In Hindi Shekhar has the same meanings as Fraz .
Get your facts right bro !

How in the hell can you tell someone how to spell a Pakistani name in English and call it a "fact"? I've seen my first, middle, and last names spelled a dozen different ways, and its because people from different cultures pronounce it differently. I spell Faraz in that way because my two cousins with that name spell it in that manner. You could argue that they add that extra 'a' in there to make up for the 'zabar' over the 'f' sound (as most people do IMO).

What a pointless discussion though tbh.

Round of 32, Battle 16

We shall define a legend of cricket on the basis of the following criteria:

- An influential figure who made a significant impact on the way the game is played on the field.
- An influential figure who remained involved in and made significant contributions to the game off the field.
- A hero or an icon who served as an inspiration for others (cricketers as well as the general public) and will be remembered for years to come.
- Remember that a legend is defined not merely by cricket records but also by aura, impact and legacy.

Battle 16

CB Fry (oustanding athlete, scored 94 centuries, unprecedented six consecutive centuries)

versus

Garry Sobers (all-rounder, considered as the greatest all-round cricketer ever, hit six sixes in an over)

This battle will close after 12 hours (or earlier if it's a no contest IMO) with a lead of at least 5. Otherwise, it will close after 24 hours.
