Battle of the Cricketers Champion: Bradman
So, if you're right, the interesting thing will be Imran v Richards for third place... (although I think there may be some upsets yet (Lara/McGrath v Imran?), and the final might be closer than you'd expect)

Anyway, Hobbs will win this match-up I guess, but I'm voting for Waugh because to my mind he changed the way the game is played and in fifty years or so people will think of cricket in terms of the pre- or post- Waugh eras.

Aravinda...did a great deal for SL cricket

Richie Benaud...I never had the pleasure of viewing as a player, but as a commentator, I think he's a bit overrated...for instance, yesterday, he called Hussey and Watson, the 2 great allround hopes of Australia.....Hussey????????

So, my vote goes to ARAVINDA
hi sanjane

you should post here more often, it is a much better forum than the LU cricket forum.

I'm a huge Waugh fan, supreme competitor & a top bloke too, but I can't vote against The Master, possibly (probably?) our best ever batter & a fellow Cantabridgian!

Hobbs

For reference, probably about 8 hours left. There's about 2 hours leeway on my deadlines though, I try and do it between 7.30 and 10 British time.

Waugh probably gave me more satisfaction watching the game than any other cricketer. So how can I vote against him?
