Battle of the Cricketers

Have to go with my gut instinct & say Brian Charles. In the period I've been watching cricket (from mid 80s onwards) there is no other player I'd rather watch when in full flow. Unmistakeably touched by the hand of divinity.

Well, I can't really decide who is objectively the better player, so I'll just go with the one I'd (much) rather watch, which doesn't make it a difficult choice, since he's been my favourite player for several years.

Lara.

You nailed it, mate. Sorry, Sir Richard.

Wow, what a tough match-up. Really really tough, but the results shall be interesting.

I'm going for Lara, but Hadlee is extremely unlucky.

Whatever it takes!!!
BCL. One player for whom I am going to cast aside my all rounder over specialist bias, eventhough I don't think Hadlee is a specialist all rounder anyway. The man has played some of the most magical innings in the toughest of situations possible.

Brian Lara for me. The fact that no game is ever lost while he is at the crease is the biggest compliment a batsman can be paid, and he is more than worthy of such praise.

Lara is the one. Love watching him and sachin, had hoped they would be playing together in super series , creating a big partnership, tearing apart Mcgrath and Warne, but that wont be the case would it guys 8-)
